MjW
Hi, my name is Marc and I've just entered the interesting (and potentially expensive) World of American car ownership with this "beauty". She's a 1977 Chrysler New Yorker 2dr Brougham, with the St Regis vinyl roof package. Registered in the UK on registration BRN 253R. Currently at the start of a long process of checking, repairing or replacing all hoses, pipes, cables or other items that need attention. Once its up and running correctly, I'll remove the old vinyl top before deciding which direction the project is going to take. The car is in pretty good shape considering it's 46 years old. The bottom of the doors need attention, the vinyl top is beyond repair, and there are a couple of minor rust spots here and there, but overall a very good place to start. I'm hoping to have her at some local shows by Summer 2024, but would love to trace some of her history. She was imported from Minnesota in 2012 and made an appearance at the 30th Hot Rod Supernats with her previous owner, but beyond an earlier owner being a baseball fan and listening to a little Burt Bacharach and Frank Sinatra (on 8 track), I know nothing of her previous exploits. Any information or photos anyone has would be great.
