  2. Hi Everyone, I'm looking for some advice. I've just found a rather aggressive oil leak under my 2002 2.5CRD Grand Voyager . I've added a couple of photos to see what I found. Once I started it up, there was a regular drip about every 2 seconds from the location of a bolt head near the back left of the crank case. The bolt goes into the bell housing. After a few minutes oil started to seep out at the bell housing join too. I'm wondering if it is the crankshaft oil seal that's given up. (I seem to remember that's not an uncommon problem.) Do you think it might be something else? If it is the crankshaft oil seal, is it a fairly easy job? Has anyone done one? Is it best to do with the engine in situ, or is it best to take it out? I've recently picked up a 2nd hand engine hoist to use on another broken vehicle, but wonder if I might have to use it on my Chrysler. I suppose I'm looking for the quickest option as long as it's not too awkward to do. As ever, your advice will be very gratefully received.
  3. Does anyone know what type of system this may be, when I purchased the car I was told that the system had been changed but I have no info for this new system and I need to update the satnav and figure out how to properly use the thing. Without this information I can’t get anything done. It doesn’t seem to have a model number on it and if it has I do not know where to find it.
  4. I recently purchased a 2008 Chrysler grand voyager crd touring, but it didn’t come with any user manual and the dealer did not really know how the car worked apart from basics, so could not really explain much to me. Does anyone know where I could get a user manual for the car. I have tried looking for Haynes manuals but the ones I’ve found are for the petrol American Chrysler apparently not the one that I have so I am just basically just figuring out how the car works not actually learning how it should properly work.
  5. I've just had the outer part of the aircon clutch fall off, obviously the bolt has fallen out & vanished and I just found half a snap ring too so..... I need a snap ring and the centre bolt to hold it all together, any suggestions where I can find them? REALLY want to avoid buying & fitting a new compressor. Cheers
  6. Good morning everyone, I've just made an account on this forum so I'm a newbie to all this. I'm thinking of buying a Chrysler Grand Voyager I think it's the 2.5 diesel. I just wanted to know what the spares are like for these vehicles when something goes wrong. Also what the fuel is like, common faults and what to watch out for when buying etc! Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks Greg
  7. I have a 1994 Chrysler Voyager, with a 2.5 AMC l4. I need the serial number for the engine, but I can't seem to find it. Anyone know where it is? Thanks.
