Hi, I'm pretty new to the forum, and just wondered if anyone had had any experience fitting an aftermarket stereo/sat nav to a Delta before - I was looking at one of the new Pioneer CarPlay Apple ones, but Halfords removed the facia in my Delta and said it was impossible to fit (their exact words) - even with the double din facia I'd bought. So, has anyone else ever tried (and/or failed)? Or is it possible to install a manufacturer sat nav (if purchased) that would've come in a higher specification Delta? Thanks, Ryan.

Hi all! I’m a newbie to the forum and am currently looking to purchase my first Chrysler. I really like the look of the Delta, and I find them to be pretty good value. However I’d like some owners opinions: • Is it any fun to drive? • Does the 1.4 petrol feel fast at all? (coming from a 1.2 Polo with 0-60 of 14.1 seconds) • Is the interior a good quality and comfortable place? • Have you modified it, and if so what have you done? • Is the 1.4 reliable? • Is servicing an issue due to Chrysler leaving the UK? Many thanks

Hello all, hope you're well. I'm hoping that someone can help me please with replacement parts for the exhaust system on a Delta. I need a back box, "rubber" and a rear strap. I'm told that the cost of the components alone will be north of £400 for original parts. I was wondering if any of these parts are identical to the Bravo parts and also if anyone can help me with product codes and somewhere to source them from please? Thanks in advance - all input and advice welcome.

Hi one and all, newbie here with a headache of a problem. Recently bought a 2012 Chrysler Delta SR 1.6 which drives well for a 1.6 diesel, anyhow my problem is after buying it I couldn't work out why the stereo wouldn't come on so waited until I got home. I've checked all the fuses behind the glove box and found 1 blown 5 amp fuse so changed it and I've discovered that the usb and cigarette lighter down below work, I've even had information on what folders and tunes are on the usb stick on my information screen on the dash so I know that works and as far as I can work out all the steering controls work as that's how I was able to see what was on the usb, even the windows/blue and me button beeps when pressed. It's just that I cannot get the actual stereo unit itself to come on as if it's getting no power at all and since found out the front interior lights don't work either but the rear ones do. I'm assuming the blue and me is working with the button on the wheel and usb working. It's giving me a right headache every time I look into it. I've looked everywhere I can think of on the net so any help that's sent my way would be appreciated so much. Cheers

Just a warning to Delta owners; a while ago I enquired at my nearest Chrysler dealer, Vospers of Truro about a service, 36,000 miles I think. They quoted me nearly £400 and that did not include a new cambelt! For a 4 cylinder, 1600cc car that is beyond excessive.

Hi All, This last Sunday I completed the purchase of a 2011 Lancia Delta 1.8L turbo (petrol). I spent roughly a month looking for a family vehicle that was not your regular run-of-the-mill 5-door/station wagon cars. Quick run down of the vehicle specs: Year: 2011 Mileage: 108,800kms Engine: 1.8L petrol Turbo Colour: Black Transmission: Automatic Model: Elegante (dual panoramic sunroof with opening sunroof on drivers' side), Electronic seat adjustment + Heated seats for front seats. Previous owner had the ECU tweaked to boost power from 200hp to 250hp. Original owner replaced all 4 brakes housings with Brembos, not sure regarding the discs though. Car is very clean inside with minor signs of wear and tear. External Lancia badges have faded unfortunately. All in all, I'm very proud to be the owner of such a beautiful vehicle. Now I have a few questions for you guys: A) What mechanical issues should I keep my eye out for? Previous owner said the turbo was replaced at 80,000 kms, timing was done at 90,000kms and last service (fluids + filters) at 105,000 kms. The shifter knob has been badly abused and needs replacing. I have attempted to search online but with no success. Local Fiat/Alfa service centre told me the part itself would cost roughly 600 Israeli Shekels (about 125 GBP). This to me seems stupidly high. Any suggestions? C) All 4 tyres should be replaced, urgency on the rears. What brand would you guys recommend that can give a good quality performance at an acceptable price? D) For the Modifiers: What performance modifications would you recommend that don't require oodles of hours in a shop? I was thinking about starting with dampeners and springs to get better some better handling. I'd also like to tweak the throttle response in low revs, when gradually applying throttle from a traffic light there seems to be a 1-2 second delay between pressing the accelerator and the engine waking up. A full exhaust system for a more throaty noise would be nice, not something that can financially be done right now, but a project for the future - happy to get some recommendations for kits + sellers. Is it worth investing into the air intake system at an early stage? What would you do for the most Bang for your Buck in regards to intake? E) Is there a dedicated section for uploading pics of our vehicles? Looking forward to participating in the forum and enjoy many thousands of kms on my new toy Josh

Hi all, I've had my 61 plate Delta for two months now and have already done 7000 miles in it. It's not going to stay low mileage for long! There's not much to dislike about the car, and. I'm very happy with it in general, though I do have a couple of questions to ask other owners about sounds. One of which is too loud, and one of which is too quiet. I was wondering if anyone else finds the click click sound of the indicators much much quieter than most cars? I'd just like to know whether it's a Chrysler / Lancia thing, or if mine has a fault. Also, as I often leave home at 4 am, i'm sure the neighbours would love me to turn off the deafening beep when locking or unlocking the car. Has anyone managed to find a way of disabling this? Any help / info would be gratefully received!

Hi Folks My annual pay for using the car (insurance, MOT, breakdown cover, Road Tax) is due within a month or so. Has anyone used Chrysler breakdown cover (Home start / recovery / continental) with any vehicle? If so, feedback appreciated. Has anyone renewed in the UK? There seems to be little on either - maybe because we are Lancia rebadged Deltas, and I am googling in the wrong area. ISTR that my subs from last year (Home start / recovery / continental), where in the region of £79 by Europ Mondial - cannot accurately state, as its lump summed in the receipt that I have on the laptop. Hi The chilly nights are here. Already had ice on windscreen, and have condensation in (off side) normal bulb headlight. Apparently the headlights have a 'breather hole' that allows air in / out through under convection. This may be blocked. Any ideas of where to find it? OR remedies. The heating up of the unit with headlights / removal of hot lamp and replacement could be done, but if a seal has gone, this may not prove a useful route. Offside and nearside would be useful for future readers. Regards Penguin

Delta Chrysler Delta On A 62 Plate Seen On A9 7.7.14

Twin tail piped C Delta cruised with me, in the traffic queue up and passed Aviemore yesterday afternoon. Do I assume he was burning 'essence' rather than 'gazol' - petrol rather than diesel? Quite a nice car, flashed his headlights at my little missy! Chris
