Hi. The flashing light sequence when locking my GV 2005 has suddenly changed. Any suggestions why, please.

Mine needs to be in "park" before key will come out.

Hi everyone, On a few occasions now I have retufound that one of my rear electric doors have opened without my knowing it. It appears that I have inadvertently pressed the relevant button twice whilst the keys were in my pocket along with other bits of junk. Is there any way I can disable this feature when I lock the car?

Good question glad you brought it up. I'll be doing my front brakes soon and will need to know the answer.

Must admit I hadn't heard of the battery fix either untill it came up in a previous post in this thread but I'm always keen to find out about anything that helps my GV. Anyone got any links to it -

I could do with the link to battery fix as well please. The in line thermostat has been a real good choice even fuel consumption has increased and now the aux. heater switches off after reaching temp. Brilliant. -
Just done the in line thermostat mod on my 2006 GV. It took 20 mins and cost a fiver. Now got good heater and engine running so much better at correct temp. Hoping that fuel consumption will improve too. An excellent mod.

BTW. It pulls my caravan with no trouble at all. Anyone lse towin with an auto 2.8 gv.

130000 on my 2.8 crd. Change oil and filters regularly and touch wood it drives like dream. Love it.

I have two cigarette lighters on the dash of my g.v. the nearside one stays live all the time and the off side one turns on with the ignition. Ideal for dash cam.
-
I have the same problem with my 2006 2.8 g.v. I find that I can turn off the aux heater by reducing the temperature control by 10 deg. Then turning it back up when the heater has turned off. Generally speaking though the heating system is not good and takes ages to get up to temp. Not looking forward at all to the really cold weather.
