Hi L Plates, long story but here we go! Fiat bought out Chrysler for the sole reason to get a foothold in America, by owning Chrysler they can bypass regulations and sell their nasty little cars there last I heard Fiat 500's were selling for $30,000, a total waste of money when you can buy one of the new 330c's for near enough the same price! Fiat pulled Chrysler because their sales were at an all time low of 2,000 a year and they were trying to make Chrysler dealerships buy 1,000 cars per month as you can guess several went under. As for prices, I have just bought a 59 with 83,000 for £10,995 its a 2.8 crd limited with all the bells and whistles, i've worked out how to start and stop it using the hdd is going to be fun. However, I digress, I believe the Grand Voyager in all its formats are being fazed out stateside with the introduction of the Pacifica, if can have a look at this one on the chrysler.com website. As for parts there are plenty of places to get parts especially for cars up to 2008 and one place I know of can probably source parts for the newer ones, i am not sure if i can give out their number on here. If its ok I will.

Hi Phil Had this problem as well ! get the speed rings checked on the wheels 1 or more could be dirty or broken I had to have 2 replaced on opposite corners, go for after market not genuine as again genuine parts require a mortgage. Another thing to check is the wiring track on the electric doors make sure they are not damaged as they could cause the airbag light to come on, as I said in your other post go to ukchryslerspares. Hi everyone I am on my 2nd Grand voyager having previously owned 2 Voyagers. I actually have a problem, I am driving to Portugal on Wednesday and I have had just about everything possible done but I am getting an intermittent fault with the EGR modulator circuit, it keeps putting the EML on, I have replaced the modulator and had the contacts cleaned and fine for a few days but just come on again, I have spent a fortune over the last few weeks and I wondered if this will cause a breakdown if not I will leave it until I get back. Anyone got an idea?

Hi just had the same problem, 1st does the door open ok and when almost closed does it pull into the locked position? if it does then it is the main door motor, this is the motor that pulls the door backwards and forwards, the other motor the pinch motor is the one that opens the door and closes it. You can buy replacement motors on ebay for around £29 to £39 they are second hand but new ones require a mortgage from Chrysler !! I use UKChryslerspares run by Steve and Lin in Cradley Heath Birmingham. I am pretty sure this is your problem as it sounds exactly like the one I had. Good luck. ps its easy to do just need to remove the door card, my 16 year old did mine!
