  1. Hi there and welcome, It would be better to post this in the tech help section for your car I'd guess that if you mean the direction of the light beam it's to do with the self levelling system on yours, What car is it by the way? (Not a GV up to 2007 I know that much!!)
  2. Yes, my auto locksmith needed that pin code for my ECU from Chrysler, simple phone call to his contacts.
  3. You can get a second hand remote fob, and a good auto locksmith can code it to your car, it's been covered fairly recently on here too. Get 2 while you're doing it, makes sense.
  4. Marvellous mate! What you will eventually notice is that you are correct, the gauge really is a ROUGH idea, mine can go to the last, then flashing green light after sometimes 80 miles, somewaht premature on the 200 plus empty miles!!!!
  5. Jolly good result you found this - better than me, however not got the info from 2 years ago! Do not worry about canbus, doesn't apply to ours
  6. Yep aftermarket HID kit on mine too, but 4500k for the daylight light level - ruddy awesome. I did my outer perspex with the 3M drill kit, fantastic results in no time. A while ago I posted the bulb types on here, but later cars have H7 dipped beam, but I can't find it - must do it again!
  7. Hi there! Don't worry - Yep the click is correct, whether you've heard it or not, it's the release for the gear shift to come out of park. All 3 of mine have done it. The ABS light however isn't, but I don't know a related cause on that sorry.
  8. Ah, do Fiat own Chrysler so the yanks send it to Italy then on to us? Still pretty cheap though, anyone on here need any spares? hee hee Mopar stuff can be had direct from the States quite easily.
  9. Cracking pal, good stuff! You are very welcome.
  10. Blooming heck pal that's awful!! Sadly can't help with the core plug but I have had the valley gasket done, twice, a pattern one then genuine Mopar, still weeps..... Where are you? I have a lovely condition with no leaks at all 2002 3.3 LPG full car sat at the back of my drive that I am getting fed up with not fixing its transmission problem? Engine is the best of the 3 GV's we've had! All 3.3's.
  11. No worries fella! we're on here to help each other along - and I know you're good! And I'll take all the help I can get with mine!!! hee hee
  12. Huh again, mine isn't stuck. There's nowt wrong with mine. I was asking the OP (who is still absent recently) if he was asking the questions, not you mate - I'm quite sure you know!
  13. Blooming heck pal you must be more tired than me - he put a new one on as well as the fully charged unit.
  14. Hiya Qinteq, huh what ? What ref to DTC's? The OP asked how to switch ON the traction control, and said his switch was stuck. And didn't mention a problem, and hasn't commented on - the other replies (so come on fella chip back in) Has the OP @@roberttherebel57 got TRAC OFF lit up on his dash below the mileometer / trip? Or were you simply asking, as you were interested, as you didn't realise it's always on?
  15. Yep pretty damn certain it's alternator as mike said, from the earlier info too. If the voltage didn't change with it running. My petrol wasn't bad at all to swap, getting the belt back on by myself was a sod!
  16. Hi there and welcome! You need to post this in the technical help sections for the guys with one to hopefully help out! But first off try pulling the fuse for it - no idea on yours where!!
  17. er hi guys, are we off at a tangent somehow! On my reply I meant the switch itself showing trac, not a light.
  18. Yes as you look at it, it says trac off, but must be stuck as mine's just a light rocker action, then the warning comes up on the dash if it's off. And it (the switch), won't stay down, and resets when the ignition is turned off again.
  19. Yeah a 1/4 inch is very excessive! Usually a little lip occurs, but nothing like that size!
  20. Super, good result! And you're not far at all from me, in Cheadle Heath!
  21. Hi there! If you have it slightly open, then press the door pillar button, will it finish the opening? If not it could still be a dodgy wire. If it will, then it could be the motor at the back of the door, that opens a catch when opening, and pulls the door closed on opposite operation.
  22. Hi Guys, I've swapped mine on a 2002 3.3 auto and the mileage was correct so I assume stored in the main ecu, it was in the course of a TCM / PCM comms problem, didn't sort it. (no gear changing, just second forward gear and reverse) Yes the input and output sensors are located on the front / side of the gearbox, easy ish with nearside wheel off.
  23. I don't know how the waste gate operates on these, but could it be stuck open? Other diesel owners hey guys?
  24. Hi there, with the complete lack of power, but I presume it will rev at a standstill out of gear, sounds like no boost from the turbo somehow, hoses off, or just knackered. Is blowing oil smoke out the back?
