Limp Mode Only 2Nd Gear But Its Not A Faulty Gearbox
Semmysonic replied to tmtmusic's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
I've heard a lot of problems involving dodgy thermostats, may be worth looking into as some of your problems seem to envolved the temp that your engine is at -
Lpg Tank Location- Stow And Go
Semmysonic replied to steviec2000's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
I bought my car with the conversion already done so don't know about costs Mine switches over automatically and beeps when it's empty, the gauge on it is next to useless so I reset the trip every fill up, I can get between 70 and 80 ltr in mine but once it's over 50 odd ltr it takes forever to full (usually give up at about 60) -

Electric Sliding Doors
Semmysonic replied to robthemuso's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
How can they possible justify that sort of money. Price of a reasonable phone or tablet and all it does is opens some doors and turns an alarm on and off! -
Electric Sliding Doors

Electric Sliding Doors
Semmysonic replied to robthemuso's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
Never had that problem, I would think it's quite difficult to do it by accident as you have to press the button twice in quick succession to operate the door -
Can we have a tab for lpg converted grand voyagers. To discuss problems, tips etc

Abs Light 2003 Crd Voyager!
Semmysonic replied to jakedamuss's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
I had a similar problem, I pulled the sensor to stop the abs (was quite scary not having proper breaking) Not sure if it's the sensor or the reluctor ring being corroded. The traction control has also switched itself off. It's never dull when you own a voyager :-D -
Lpg Tank Location- Stow And Go
Semmysonic replied to steviec2000's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
You may be spending a lot of time at the petrol station with only 50l on board, still worth it with the saving you get, I pay 41p / ltr -
They are big fat yank tanks, they are never going to feel good going around corners ? I run 36 and accept it's not going to feel very sporty ?

Hello From Not So Sunny Bognor :)
Semmysonic replied to Carlby's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
Hi, welcome, I have a standard removable tow bar, it doesn't affect the parking sensors. However if you have an issue I believe there is a setting on the menu in the overhead computer to switch off the parking sensors, just scroll through the menu -
I have now changed the leads and coil, seems to have cured it. after doing a little research I found that running on gas requires almost double the voltage to ignite the fuel air mixture. Which means the ignition parts take a real hammering due to the extra juice going through them. Worth a try as it only cost around £100

Using A Usb Stick On The Dvd System
Semmysonic posted a question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
Has anyone tried playing movies from a usb stick rather than dvd, I have an 06 xs grand voyager with a standard dvd system fitted. Is it possible before I start looking into it. The head unit has 3 av sockets on the front. -
Lpg Tank Location- Stow And Go
Semmysonic replied to steviec2000's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
I have an 06 with stow and go with gas conversion, I've got 2 50 ltr tanks in the Wells that the middle seats drop into. Not being able to stow the middle seats isn't a massive issue, as said they can still tilt up. With those tanks I have about 250 to 300 mile range, depending on the type of driving of course. -
Changed the plugs and it solved the problem. Took it for a drive about 20 miles, including mway, all was well until half a mile from home, when the misfire returned :-(
-
Been to the garage today, over fueling is causing the misfire, mechanic didn't get too involved as he thinks it maybe to do with the gas system, going to a specialist to have it checked. I'm starting to think it might be the plugs or leads now though. Can't understand why it doesn't do it from cold (only once it's warmed up)

Quick question, Can a leaky exhaust manifold cause the engine to misfire?
-
I've just read the codes on mine, it's a misfire on cylinder 6, just looking there is moisture around the exhaust manifold on cylinder 6. Not sure if this is the cause of my problem, going to the garage on Tuesday to get it checked
