hi done this unbolted seat belt top and bottom took off speaker cover with tools that pop out poppers took out visable screws then popped out panel where seat belt goes just enough to get access to one bolt that holds mechanism in place bolted in new seat belt mechanism repopped panel replaced screws and speaker cover then replaced bolts top and bottom took me 30 mins reason had to replace seat belt caught in door and was frayed on edges seat belt mechanism only cost 17.80 which included postage hopes this helps anyone in case you need to do this only folded up middle seat didnt have to take out bench seat

hi as any one changed the middle row nearside seat belt it looks like the cup holder removes to get access to mechanism tried to remove but wont it looks like whole interior rear panel has to come out has anyone done this if so how long did it take to remove and is it easy to do (i have plastic tools that remove the lugs that secure door panel ) thanks

could be loose or worn drive belt sometimes mine squeaks on start up only last couple secs then it goes doesnt happen all time mines v6 as well gonna change my belt in couple of weeks

yes pleased now got chase insurance so can get bumper done gonna try and get them to reinburse me for mot cos it wasnt due till march will keep u updated

hi have 2003 ltd editon grand voyager the alloys are standard but you can get the polished ones as well does anyone know if i can get mine redone like the polished ones

got my car back thursday been told can keep car so gonna get bumper done cos rest bodywork in good condition might even fit tow bar so if someone hits me again they will do more damage to there car(lol) found company on ebay that can supply new bumper and painted in my colour blue for £370 might even do that

contacting insurers tuesday been offered 1380 for car will find out tomorrow all details but if i cant keep car still have 500 pound left on finance so theres no way gonna get same car for money spent 2000 pound this year on maintaining car im kind person keeps recipt for everything including bulbs its had complete front suspension radiater lamda sensers 2 of them new exhaust brakes and brake pipes replaced new fluid so they dont take that into consideration hoping they let me keep car as chips away can fix car for 300 pound as car maintained regardless of cost will keep you updated on situation

hi have 53 reg v6 grand voyager ltd with 90000 miles my car was hit in rear bumper been declared drivable write off the damage is little hole in bumper and paint peeled off and some paint cracking been offered figure for car my question is if i keep car do i have to repair it with the money or can i leave it as is the damage will not affect it passing mot but my insurance company want me to re mot it thats not a problem as know it will pass will be class as cat d my current insurance company will renew my insurance in march just need to re mot car to satisfy them car roadworthy not sure if got to buy back or settle up then tell me to keep car my work mate had same happen to him he got paid out and was told to keep car and didnt cost him anything to buy back any advise much appreciated

have you changed anti roll bar bushes i got v6 it had mot in march put it garage in january for pre mot check as i always do found my drop links front shocks anti roll bar bushes and wish bone bushes were wearing so i replaced complete front suspension got parts on ebay didnt cost as much as thought then just got garage to fit it all

hi yeah comes on when turn ignition on then goes out then while driving it will illuminate for 5to 10 secs then go out then come on again read through forum found your reply to another member so checked all usual suspects just wondering if got short somewhere are there any wires under pass seat checked under drivers seat all connections seem fine have got code reader but no code showing got im showing so maybe take to my local garage and get them to check if they can narrow it down thanks

hi have airbag light come up on display it is intermittent have checked clockspring my horn still works so have ruled out that as read if horn works then clockspring is ok have checked wires under driver seat all seem ok the warning light is not on permanatly it comes and goes any ideas on what the problem could be thanks

hi update my car was rear ended the day the code appeared a friend of mine said sometimes a rear end shunt can knock out senser so disconnected battery to reset system this has worked

hi the problem with my car was intermittant fault with upstream o2 senser earth wire where it meets in the loom with downstream o2 senser the wires meet in loom auto electrican had to strip loom down to find fault as it was intermittant found it to be earth wire then he ran a bypass to the chassis this fixed it my mpg up by 5 mpg in town 8 mpg on run took 4 hours to do had to take out battery egr valve to get to loom

hi looking through my code book all your codes relate to circuit malfunctions have you checked loom is connected to your ecu correctly also check for moisture at the connecters where they meet ecu i have v6 petrol my ecu sits behind nearside headlight and next to my battery had fault in my loom had to take connecters off ecu moisture can get inside and corrode pins dont where your ecu is on diesels hopes this helps

hi have 3.3 v6 petrol grand voyager i have code p0420 come up saying cat below threshold bank 1 both my o2 senors are no more than 6 months old how likely is it that my cat needs replacing what would occur if i continue to drive i know that the cat could break down internally causing blockage that will stop car running thanks

hi i got 53 grand voyager only folds backwards the model before folded forward if you pull seat forward as far as it goes then fold seat backwards it should recline nearly flat but take out luggage cover if u got one first hope this helps

should be under bonnet in fuse box

my car had spluttering problem lack power was v6 model turned out to be wiring fault with lambda sensor upstream car would run fine for a while then when you put foot down nothing check sensor code is p0134 this part 122.40 from chrysler can get next day hopes this helps also does car run rich or is your mpg down mine was 5 mpg round town 9mpg on run had this fixed now get 18mpg in town 31mpg on run

hi i posted fault with my v6 grand voyager 53 reg petrol my car triggered fault codes p0134 p0171 replaced upstream 02 sensor but also replaced downstream at same time took my car to autoelectrican after 2 separate diagnoses were made one said faulty sensor one said wiring fault so replaced sensor problem still arose so finally after saving some money took to autoelectrican originally he couldnt find fault but while testing my fault appeared he had to strip entire near side of engine bay which included taking out battery egr valve to get to loom that runs across gearbox to ecu the fault was intermittant where the 2 earth wires from both 02 sensors meet in the loom the upstream one had the fault the guy ran a wire from upstream o2 earth wire to chassis just under ecu this fixed fault my car now runs fantastic mpg up as well just thought update you all with outcome symptoms i had were running rich and sometimes loss power when accerating
