Hi All, The boot arm on my 2007 Chrysler has broken - the plastic ring attached to the motor has cracked and failed, but not so much that it's broken off, so it still opens but doesn't stay open. I'm wondering if there's a known fix for this. I'm initially looking for a replacement arm to pop on and screw in from a breaker somewhere, but it then occurred to me that this will probably happen again, so maybe there's an upgrade that does a better long term job? I can reply to my own question now for anyone asking the same in future. I bought an ebay special that claims to replace the VES remote and it works! Described as Remote Control For Chrysler Grand Voage 300C Video DVD Headphones VES System, we're up and working again!

Thanks for the replies. I'm toying with the idea of changing the stereo unit because I want bluetooth and the parrot system in the car won't see my phone as tech has moved on. I'm thinking I might replace it all in one go and then I know it will work. Finding something compatible with the amp seems to be a little challenging though.

Hi All, I've got an 06 GVL but without a DVD remote for the single DVD screen at the back. I have sound working happily from the speakers with a DVD in place, but nothing on screen. I understand that this is because Chrysler decided that we must have a remote to make this turn on. Anyone know where to get a cheap replacement? Ive seen some genuine ones on ebay for 75quid, but this seems excessive for what it is. Thanks in advance.
