Lost all power after changing the radiator
Foggy replied to Foggy's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
Starts fine . Also noticed the red light on the steering column not flashing . Changed battery on fob . Took out iod fuse . I'll live with just using the keys to open it . -
Does anyone know what the 5 relays on the bonnet slam panel are ? Could any of them be for the remote locking ? Or power doors cgv 2.8 2007 ? The reason I'm asking is after changing the radiator, and moving the panel , my auto locking and power doors are no longer working

Sorry my friend but if the idler pulley has came off, been damaged , whatever . Sounds like a lot of work . Had a pulley came off a Peugeot 205 diesel years ago . Cost me a rebuild . -

Lost all power after changing the radiator
Foggy posted a question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
Hello.im looking for some help here . My 2.8 voyager auto has been giving me grief recently. It will drive about all day fine , but as soon as you boot it ( 70 or above ) the temp shoots up . Almost into the red .. anyway I decided to change the radiator as after a bit of reading it seemed like that was the culprit. Now it has 4 radiators , I realised the front 2 are a/c the one nearest the engine is the cooling one . The 2nd ( smaller one ) from the engine is water , but I've no idea what it does . Anyway after changing the main cooling radiator , the car starts no problem , drives away fine revs ok ,but as soon as the revs rise it has no power at all 0 - 60 50 seconds as soon as it hits a hill it drops the gear ok, but no power at all . I think it's either turbo , intercooler, or erg valve ( engine light is on , and erg fault code , but it's been that way for over a year. ) power loss is only since I changed the radiator , ps . I've driven it a good distance and as long as no hills it's not too bad , and temp is low ( 1/4 way up the guage ) . If I can get it to run better I'll do the radiator thermostat mod . Any help is appreciated. -
Hello Im not sure if this is the right section . But I bought a gv with no dvd buttons, anyway . Bought some from eBay and they work

Chrysler Grand Voyager LTD 2006

I had this with my last voyager , I purchased a creader CRP 123 code reader .it tells you what sensor is faulty ,IE left front sensor no reading . speed each wheel is doing while you are driving ,( if it doesn't read a certain wheel , it is obvious.) allows you to reset codes , a bit expensive, but any good garage should have similar equipment. I'm not a garage but mess around with a few cars and this has paid for itself many times over. I bought it when a garage billed me £60 to tell me an abs pump was faulty . And £150 for the reader. would save me in the long run. And it has -

I had that problem before with a different car , ended up using a suction mirror ( the type driving instructors use ) -

Got it for a bargain , and I don't really need it , not my everyday car , plus I love a challenge.lol -
To open it , there is a catch near the rear of the unit, but you need the remote to operate it .although I've seen on the forum , some work when a dvd is inserted .some don't

Hello . I've just bought a 2.8 crd 08 plate . When I went to look at it the seller was charging the battery , story was " hasn't been used for a few weeks" anyway I noticed the boot ( rear hatch ) kept on opening . Beep beep then opening and closing by itself . Thought ok it's the flat battery or a dodgy key fob. Took it home , it started fine , drove fine , but when I got up the next morning , boot was wide open and battery was totally flat , inside lights would have drained battery . Took battery out . Charged it overnight, fitted it , and hatchback opens up and closes on it's own again . Took key fob battery out , and it still does it . Looks like I'm going to have to disconnect hatchback electrics , or is there a cure . Also rear park assist , I have 4 lights on all the time . Plus auto gear indication . PRND3L. All the lights light up , and eventually the correct one stays on . Thanks in advance for any help . Cheers des

Are All Voyager Heaters Poor?
Foggy replied to Fragmented's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
I done the thermostat mod a few weeks back, what a difference.roasty toasty after a few minutes. Can't believe nobody done this in the 16 years before I took the car on. -
Just bought the car , electric seats ,airbag etc. Don't want to pull airbag plug Incase something awful happens.but will test resistance in the seat heater. Will use aftermarket seat cover if all else fails.
-
Can anyone tell me what colour the heated seat wires are or which connection I should check? No heat in driver's seat , switch lights up but cold bum.

Check handbook or service manual
