I must admit I really miss the flat four engines from the Alfasud. I had a 1.5ti in council house beige, but boy did it sound good at full chat! Even the 145 got it on the early cars.
-
Is that a question Andrew or a statement!?
-
Oow love a good 75! How about the cup holder in a 147!? Every time you brake you cd player gets a good healthy gulp of coffee!
-
Check the bottom hose hasn't come off the washer bottle. Both me and Neil had this happen!
-
Haha all true! You forgot a few... Cup holders that don't fit cups. Glove boxes only fit for...well gloves! Having to have the hands of a 4 year old with dislocated wrists to change a headlight bulb, and the neck of an Ostrich to actually see what you're doing! Designing cars and advertising them as 4 seaters when actually only 3 are any good unless you don't have ANY legs. (To be fair Delta excluded on this point)
-
Yeah typical stealer advertising... They know sweet FA about cars, so just make it up! Nearly as bad a Collezionne owners saying rare car, only one of five hundred made. When nearly every 147 for sale is one lol.
-
If that's been serviced well, that is banger money for a great car!
-
Yeah as Neil says good spot! That's a nicely spec'd car desperately needing the Lancia treatment! I wasn't that keen on the Brera Independent matt finish, so not sure about this either... It will be interesting to see if they get any bites at 5k! Don't get me wrong it's A LOT of car for the money, but a niche market never the less. Plus encroaching on Giulietta money albeit not as well spec'd.

Exhaust For 1.4 Chrysler Delta M-Air Se
MikeyRules replied to NigelJones's question in Chrysler Delta
Hi Nigel, I'm not sure about that specific part number, but I can confirm that the Fiat Bravo back box does fit the Delta as the floor pans are identical. -
Yeah happy new year all! ...and Welcome Nigel!

You like doing what Spud!? Well whatever floats your boat I guess lol.

Buon Natale Delisti!

Hi Kevin, someone else had the same issue as you regardeing the 4 buttons across the bottom. I'm not sure what the solution was, other than getting a surround from a scrapper that's had Nav!?

Selenia WR 5W30 as it's ACEA C2 specification specifically for diesel engine with a DPF. Although there are many cheaper alternatives for less money... https://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-791-acea-c2-diesel-engine-oil.aspx#Filter=[EntityIDs=@(53)@*ava=0]&

We've got an Ulter sport full system on our Alfa which is now around 3 years old. It's just started to delaminate at the tips where they meet the back box. Shame as other than that they look and sound great. Just didn't expect the rot so quickly....

I ran those on my Delta and found them great, although I found the wear rate a little too quick for my liking! Plus they do get noisy when the tread gets low. But when new probably one of the best tyres for the Delta....

Ecu Remapping For The 1.4 Multi Air. Will It Add Any Benefits?
MikeyRules replied to Dido's question in Chrysler Delta
The diesel maps well... I was achieving around 165bhp and a good 30% increase in torque from my 1.6. -
https://www.simoniracing.com/en/about-us Italian company from Northern Italy... Been around for quite a while and do pretty much every aftermarket product going! I've not bought anything from them, so can't comment on quality. Although a quick chat with the guys at Demon Tweeks should tell you what you need to know as they stock some of their products. https://www.simoniracing.com/en/4-lowering-springs8

It's worth a fiver just to see the pain on a Halfords fitter! I wouldn't mind so much but as I've got older I can't see inside the back of the headlight anyway! ?
-
Welcome Deltafan, and congrats on a great spec car too! Just check yourself for any play in the steering. Whilst stationery and with the engine idling and wheels straight, see how far each way you can turn the wheel before the wheels move. I'm also pretty sure you'd have noticed by now to be fair... If you're worried get a mechanic to give it a quick check over. Where abouts are you? We might be able to suggest a good specialist!

Not getting the signature bit Spud as you don't seem to have one? Regarding the Nav, try removing the micro SD card and reinserting it. If that doesn't cure it try powering down the head unit and then back on again. The system could have froze... If neither cure it try the factory reset procedure. If it's not software related then you might need to check the GPS aerial is connected in the back of the head unit or there is no damage to the GPS cable.

Hi James, wow this is an old thread resurrection lol. I'm not familiar with that exact Kenwood model, but functionally they're all pretty similar. Get one with DAB radio if your budget allows, built in Nav is better than using your phone via Android Auto/Apple carplay as you won't kill your data allowance... Glare onscreen in the Delta isn't really a problem as it's mounted high up in the dash, and most of them have night mode, and colour coding with the dash illumination. Kenwood and Pioneer are mostly great if following the above logic, but there have been a few Sony and JVC units in recent times that have been good too. Hope that helps ?

I had that exact issue. Just go onto Autotrader and find a Bravo, then use that registration number! If they still say no, just find a different parts factor.

There was/is a thread on the Alfaowner forum where you post your headunits serial number and the guy replies with your code! He's not on every day, but he's done a couple for me over the years, so worth a try. EDIT: Yep still alive and kicking: https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-147-156-andamp-gt/140598-need-a-radio-code-ask-here-490.html
