Hi To all would like to take down my overhead console the one with no storage compartment seens to be no screw on it. Would like to put a dab aerial on the roof as the one on window screen is crap losing signal all the time thanks for any help it's on 2007 cgv 2.8 crd. Jeff

Hi Got mine of useing a cone type socket set of ebay worked a treat welzh werkzehg 1158-ww removal set and sold back on ebay later in all it cost me £10 it's cheaper to buy new wheel nuts.Jeff

There are four mountings on a 2.8 cdr.

Hi Take battery out and battery tray the cable is down there it may be off the connector hope it helps. Jeff

Hi To all and a happy christmas has anybody done the rear spring bushes on a 2.8 crd 2007 as mine is getting a knocking noise under the back it as had new drop links and bushers shockers in july and exhaust ok so spring bushers look to be the problem thanks for any help

I would look at the earth connections under the battery before buying a new alternator as they do go bad go on ebay for the alternator got a good one of there a lot cheaper.

It is a normal thing on a diesel nothing to worry about as long as it clears.

I Use a fox 315 it is a good one £35 ebay.

Hi I dont think a 2002 as not got a amp you can tell by looking in the fusebox for a relay if you have one it will be in the front wing side by the head light if not one in there put in a stereo look on youtube under town and country radio fitting it is the same as CGV as I did good luck.

Hi If you are going to look for the parking box it is in the n/s back side panel I had a similar problem hope it helps.

Hi Try a new water cap as they let the water out when old.

Well everybody finally sorted the oil pressurs out it was a new faulty oil switch put on oil gauge and a new switch oil is running at 2 bays hot and 5 bar hot so it is all good. So now for led head lights trying some new ones out there called slimline leds they gave the same pattern as the original but brighter and it goes on.

Yes that is not the oil filter it is the fuel filter the one you want is on the back of the engine o/s if you want a part number i can get it for you. Jeff

Hi Just a point the side light dimmer make sure you leave in the second position down from top or the battery will drain out.

Hi I just pulled the wire gently and pulled it out and pushed in with my finger tips job done.

Hi Andy so sorry it's not good on a 138,000 i'm wondering if the engine is a secondhand one fitted previously with a higher mileage on mine the oil light is on off new switch sill the same got to do oil pressure test i've got 136,500 on mine yes could you let me know the o ring sizes for oil pipe and the three for the carrier please. Will you buy a replacement cgy again hope you do I put that ZX1 lub in mine just in case. Jeff

Hi Andy If you do change the o rings can you let us know what the size is can't find the size for them and oil pick up strainer o rings hope you sort it out okay thanks Jeff

Hi karmonnski it is on lift side of the oil filter.

Hello Andy bad news been looking into oil pressure you say you were going up and down hills, I found there is an o ring on the pickup pipe the o ring loses its seal and lets in air am thinking this might of been your problem it may be worth taking the sump off to have a look at this o ring. If it is bad Take a look at the bearings may be able to put in new ones if not to bad hope it helps. Jeff

I think it might be worth putting on a oil pressure gauge then you will know for sure if there is a problem mine is a 07 2.8 crd the oil light come back on again off again a lot off the time but the engine is fine no codes it's looking like 2007 thing wiring problem will let you know then I have sorted it out by the way make sure you get the right sensor as there are two from 2007 on and 2002 up to 2007 one as a grey top and one as black top I put a grey in so getting a genuine black one to try and so it go's on Jeff
