Yes I often wonder is it modern car design or my increasing senility at fault ? I think actually it's a problem due to much thicker pillars for safety regs and far lower profile tyres when I had a 2000HF years ago it had slim pillars and 80 profile tyres could park it in a nano second!
-
I have to wonder if the valve timing had somehow got slightly out, I presume they use variable valve timing perhaps something to do with that?
-
Battery made no difference, deleted all user data on blue and me and unpaired BM on the phone then did pairing again and it seems to work! Fingers crossed. I know what you mean about updates but I've done one before tedious rather than complicated, I'll wait and see if this cure is permanent it might revert in next few days.
-
Mine cost a bit more than that! However I had full service as well, used original belt kit and metelli water pump all appears good so far! Strangely the car seems to run better after the belt change, wouldn't really expect that but the low end flat spot is less noticeable.
-
Already paired again, might have to try a battery disconnection if that fails might try a blue and me update when I've time. It's weird as the phone is connected!
-
My phone says it's connected to blue and me but car says no phone is connected! How weird is that? Anyone know a solution, it just started doing this haven't had any recent software updates on phone or car!
-
Yes removed panel and adjusted all good now except I have a crease on the plastic cover thing that moves with the handbrake.
-
Haven't looked just noticed it's got really bad today it's been creeping up for a while now.
-
Getting bad, starting the first signs of splitting the plastic cover wotsit just wondered how do you adjust the handbrake cable is it a simple nut somewhere?
-
I might but couldn't say which at the moment, Delta is neglected badly I haven't washed it for months! On average I think I'm doing 400 miles per week maybe a bit more, it never seems to miss a beat.
-
I'm unlikely to make a meeting, never sure what I'm doing until close to each weekend I'm afraid.
-
I still don't know if it fits though!
-
I don't know, never did get around to making sure it fits, the rolling circumference of all wheel options on bravo/delta will be very close irrespective of wheel size so I figure it should be ok next time I'm in the garage I'll check how it compares with one of the 18 in alloys
-
It's 15in
-
The 18 in tyres aren't too bad on price but obviously less painful when you're tyres are worn out. The refurbishing would sting you though. I think at £150 the wheels were a good buy but at the sellers original asking price maybe not. Seller struggled to sell them hence he took my cheeky offer.
-
They were on eBay, condition not great though they'd need refurbishing to use really.
-
I don't remember the space saver size for certain I'd have to look in the garage but I think it was 16in. The 17in share wheels that could be ordered on a new delta with 18s was I think (??) a normal 17in alloy with a normal tyre
-
I originally bought a Bravo space saver and tool kit but recently picked up a set of 4 delta 18in alloys with passable tyres on for £150 they are a bit kerbed but I think well worth it as they are like hen's teeth. I had to cut down the tool tray as it was designed for the thin space saver but the 18in wheel fits the wheel well perfectly tbh I hadn't expected that as I believe Chrysler only ever supplied 17in if a spare was specified on a car with 18s
-
It continues to run fine, no plans to change I don't think any car justifies the cost of a change as to get anything better would need a big expense (and I don't have spare cash anyway). I changed the tyres a while back to Goodyear eagle asymmetric 3 and they really suit it drives the best ever on them, I also got hold of a full sized spare wheel which makes me feel more secure on long drives.

The seat belt buzzer can be disabled or enabled in the small menu in the instument cluster but the option is only available for a few minutes after start up after then it defaults to headlight setting and so on. Quirky!
-
Still on my original brakes and exhaust at well over 60k
-
Even the offside one is a mega fiddly job to do as you can't see what you are doing and the clip that holds the bulb in is a pain in the wotsit, why do they change classic designs I found having to hook both sides in the same direction incredibly awkward
-
I find this oil reset issue odd, my local independent garage reset mine no problem at all and he is just a general garage not a specialist (but admittedly one of the very best I don't trust most garages!) so I can't see why any half decent garage couldn't do it.
-
Cable is in the boot pull off carpeted piece above the wheel arch and reach inside
-
I don't unfortunately and I've kerbed mine a few times, with modern low profiles it's easily done.
