    Spare Wheel

It's 15 inch, however I've never tried it on the car so I only have the seller's word that it's off a bravo (not very likely to have sufficient spare time/energy to check!). I had to cut down the plastic tray when I changed to a full size 18 inch spare, the good news is that it can be made to fit. Originally I had the pump and gunk set up, never liked the idea of that stuff.

    Spare Wheel

I bought a bravo space saver but never tried it on the car, no reason why it wouldn't fit but I got a full size wheel in the end. I still have the saver, don't forget you need the tool kit and tray as well. I think my space saver is 15 inch will check tomorrow.
  3. Interesting about the exhaust, I take it that the extra length of the Delta is all in the middle exhaust section then? Regarding the diesel engines they are almost but not quite identical, so most parts are at least similar but I think caution should be applied when trying to mix n match. AFAIK Opel engines are built in a different factory

  5. I think the Vauxhall one is the same but don't know for certain, the latest fiat one differs slightly from the original as well. Shop4parts sell it
  6. four and a half years plus for me, it's been a generally dependable car although I never found it very good for the image as most folk seemed to initially see it as weird in a bad way and now as time has gone on and other cars become, sort of, more similar it blends in and seems bland(?). It's like a pair of old slippers, comfy slightly worn around the edges, and almost worthless in the open market but I can't imagine how I'd replace it. Could do with something more exciting to drive sometimes though, I really must get that Volumex finished!
  7. 77k on mine and no bother with the EGR so far.....
  8. Never been stopped in mine and it's been properly badged for most of the over 4 years I've had it. I don't think there's any law that says any car requires any identifying badges at all only that it must display a number plate.
  9. I think the only people who believe in that are dodgy garages who want a bit of extra profit from nothing!
  10. I'd try disconnecting the battery and hope it resets
  11. I don't know if springs are the same size on all Delta but be warned that some other components such as dampers do have variations of fixing dimension for different versions which can be confusing!
  12. Possibly a brake light switch problem?? Hill holder probably relies on same switch to know when the brake is released
  13. Difficult to tell on a picture but I got the impression that the front gap was deliberately designed quite wide
  14. The pcd is 4 X 98 I'm not sure of the offset. This is a common fitment for most Italian cars with 4 bolts. This size is relatively uncommon in aftermarket wheels available in the UK. Many Alfa or Fiat wheels will fit but be careful as some more recent Fiat group cars were GM based (such as Grande Punto) and have a different pcd. The 2007 to 2014 Fiat Bravo is the same basic platform as the Delta 3 so wheels of that range are a direct fit and also a lot easier to find second hand
  15. You need multiecuscan software and then need to clear both service and oil degradation counters. If you are going to keep the car a while and do your own servicing and diagnostics is well worth buying as it will soon pay for itself. You need to run it on a laptop and get a set of connectors for the OBD2 socket.
  16. I got mine from shop for parts, allegedly the Opel/Vauxhall part is identical and can be found even cheaper on eBay, I didn't risk it as needed to get it fixed quickly. New part is revised part number I hope they've made improvement to it or it'll fail again in 50 to 80 k
  17. I never use/rely on it, it's just a minor function of the abs that they can probably enact for a few pence in the software and looked good in the sales brochure keeping the marketing department happy, I just thank God that it doesn't have an electronic hand brake the true work of the devil
  18. The roof on Deltas is normally matt except on executive version (limited in Chrysler speak) which is gloss, I'm not sure if the matt version is actually black or a dark grey no doubt Neil will confirm. I do think that it looks better with the two Tone effect even mine which is dark grey with black looks better even though the black roof isn't very obvious.
  19. For me the thing is the Delta is a very Italian car it's style is absolutely not that of an American, in addition the Chrysler badging, as well as being a later add on not envisaged by the original designers, is badly executed the grille just looks odd without the centre split or peak that gives it a symmetrical balance the Chrysler version looks like a goldfish in shock, also the tailgate badge is far too large and out of proportion. In addition having to try to explain to everyone on a regular basis that it's not really a chrysler at all wears me down!
  20. The glass on chrysler Deltas is plain, no logo, the logo was etched on in the UK by that annoying bunch of security registration bandits.

  22. The momo design s series grille looks perfect on a grey car, definitely the way to go although they are very expensive at list price, definitely best found on eBay

    Air Con

Here's a weird one, last Sunday took my mum out for her weekly shop and in the untypical sweltering heat the Aircon decided not to work. Bizarrely after expecting to boil all week it's worked perfectly every day so far since ... How strange is that?
  24. Yes I'm repeating just like that ****** Chrysler logo
  25. An Alfa tech told me that the radios have all the logos in the basic software and the body computer tells it which to display, he seemed to think that even if you tried to change it would probably change back again! Would be nice if he's wrong though!
