  1. Interested how then remap goes, tbh I do think that's a large claimed increase but even if it's really less it will still give it a bit more edge. Those figures are similar to a standard 2.0 so you should find it adequately brisk when done if no ball of fire, these newer diesels are deceptive though as they don't make such a song and dance about shifting along at first I used to find I was doing rather a lot more than I thought
  2. I thought much the same the only thing I got cheap was a spare set of floor mats that were too cheap to pass by.
  3. No I meant that not sure if they were on other models, it's obvious if they are fitted as the valves are a lower profile than normal ones.
  4. Not sure about sensors and also not sure if they are a good thing as they are a potential mot fail, as regards the app look for a post in this section a small while back
  5. You can use the app someone mentioned in another post to get text reading, got it on my nexus it does work but I can't say how well as I hardly ever get text when driving so not enough experience yet. I have the pump and stuff I don't like it but haven't had to use it so far .....I think most punctures are slow so I'd use the pump without the gunk as a first attempt the tyre pressure sensors are very sensitive so will catch an issue quite early they even light up sometimes when there's a sudden cold snap!
  6. I notice that in the hand book it says condensation in the light in the form of misting on cold days is normal but if the unit has drips inside to consult your dealer
  7. I think it only works on iPhones not on anything decent running android ;-)
  8. Right hand side of steering wheel small cubby hole, remove cross head screws holding the cubby and pull the unit forwards to remove it plug is behind, a generic reader might not tell you much multiecuscan software ( about 50 euros for a licence) and suitable cables is a must to see everything that's going on.
  9. You could try a software update but tbh I suspect it simply will not function, I find it easier to use a 32gb memory stick you can get very small ones these says that look fine permanently plugged in. Still not all that easy to navigate though as there is no way to call up a track of album list you just have to scroll by album one by one in alphabetical order
  10. I seem to be at the beginning of divorce, it us an outside possibility that I might have to sell ours, if I do I'll let you know but I will avoid it if I can so don't get your hopes up!
  11. Our limited is same colour but with gloss black roof it does make a difference but in this colour combo is very subtle as the grey is already dark. I think you could possibly negotiate a limited for not a lot more if you are lucky, they do keep turning up and the asking price us rarely the selling price. I suspect most dealers would see a delta as a liability on stock so may be keen to deal
  12. Looks quite nice shame it doesn't have nav. I do think the 1.6 will be a bit steady if you must have diesel I think you should hold out for a limited in the lower powered versions I think I'd go for the petrol multiair but try it and see what it's like
  13. Just to be certain I tried postcodes again you can put in for instance dn34 but it then suggests either dn34 4 or dn34 5 when you select one it comes up with a list of local villages and so on in the format @grimsby basically it's total nonsense! If you select one you just end up at the town you could have selected manually anyway......... It is really pants because in my old mg zt whilst it wouldn't recognise the whole postcode at least you could put in the first 6 digits and it would give you a list of streets to chose from. Anyone know if there is a software update at the dealers to cure this and if so will they do it as part of a service without ripping you off?
  14. Don't have an answer but this issue seems common to many modern cars, used to get it on an mg TF and seen it on Jaguars, so far our delta is not afflicted though.
  15. The blue and me update is dead easy you just need to be slightly patient when doing it, regarding the sat nav my car is a 2011 and has ,I think, 2012 labelled mapping sadly postcodes don't seem to function properly and I checked with Navteq who confirmed the maps have the information but it's fiat software that will not resolve it, getting newer maps would make no difference.
  16. No just fish around in your locality, there is bound to be a local guy who will do all the garages
  17. http://usedcars.chrysler.co.uk/chrysler-delta/chrysler-delta--hull-201411128926688?link=%2Fchrysler-delta Expensive for a 61 plate but this one has very nice spec look like poltrona frau leather as the dash is trimmed
  18. If I was you I'd get a paintless repair guy in to do it shouldn't cost a lot and they have all the right gear to do a perfect job in most cases without taking the panel off too
  19. The interesting point on depreciation is that my car against list had lost about £15000 in less than 18 months but in the following 20 months since I bought it only seems to have lost about £2500 at retail ( obviously about £4000 against trade in value) I actually think this isn't bad at all in the current saturated market place and I've put about 18k extra on the clock too. So once someone else took the initial drop it is not bad really although I do think I bought at just the right time.
  20. As a car it is nothing special, bought it because the price was good and I prefer not to follow the herd. The basic platform design has too many flaws and evidence of penny pinching to be anywhere near the top of its class. I don't worry too much about being embarrassed after all I've run Lancias of one sort or another for something like 32 years so I've heard all the put downs going, the chrysler badge is still a hard one to justify and the badge on the tailgate is hideous and out of keeping with the original design so much so that I have removed it. The front of the car is spoilt by the chrysler grille style, the original Lancia grille is much better as it follows the flow of the body design. There's no need to get aggravated if you think the car is ok branded as chrysler that's fine, the fact that chryslerr depreciate faster than any other brand suggests most folk concluded otherwise.
  21. I'm thinking more about people who were youngsters some time ago but are now working with substantial spare cash not those playing games today, there is too much talk about a scandal that happened before most potential buyers were even born
  22. Not disagreeing all I'm saying is at the moment my engine seems to work fine I think the biggest horror stories on dpf are for early applications and/or bad driving style but I may yet live to regret that comment! I agree EGR are an issue I've removed them on older cars it seems that they are too integrated into modern ones to be able to do much without further intervention to software which I don't personally want to get involved with
  23. I don't know but it is only software the hardware will be the same so I theory it ought to be possible
  24. I think it is not advisable to remove the dpf the legal restrictions on doing this are getting tighter all the time, my car always regens perfectly I don't find it an issue but I do drive it properly in that I never run in too high a gear to 'save' fuel this means basically minimum of 40 for 4th, 50 for 5th, 60 for 6th. Been tempted about remap or box but not sure due to dpf, insurance and tbh it performs well enough for most situations but maybe I'm getting too old.
