There was a set on eBay recently that didn't sell try searching for completed auctions then contact the seller

I think that is held by two screw's hidden by the gear change surround. You should not need to remove the surround or disconnect anything there just releasing it will probably give you enough space
-
Undo the gear lever gaiter press stud and use this to get your fingers on the inside edge of the surround gently ease it up at one side at the lowest point (toward rear of the car) once you've got it started it'll come out be aware that it will bring the 12v socket and the blue and me aux / USB with it

Going to answer my own question, there are two small brackets with rubber stops on them these need to be slid from either side of the glovebox and then it will drop down, these are not mentioned in the handbook!
-
still trying to neatly fit the dab adaptor, had the centre console gear-lever surround off so I am able to access the 12v socket wiring however I want to remove the glove box to make access easier and reveal the fuse box. I have released the two plastic pins as it shows in the instruction manual and released the damped side arm but whatever I do the glove box just flops around but will not drop down, can't see what I'm doing wrong any ideas? At the moment it's driving me mad but it's not the end of the world however should I need to change a fuse in the future..........hmmm...... Probably I'm simply missing something here?

Answering my own question ! Yep prise off the little panel then ondo the bolt (torx head) then simply pull the panel, unless you want it completely off leave it connected at the bottom where it links to air vent though.
-
How did you take theA-post trim off? Need to do this to fit dab aerial, my research suggests that you pull off the oval cover marked airbag, undo a bolt that's behind and then you can pull the trim away? I can't just slip the cabling behind as 1) there's a short copper strip that has to be sort of vaguely earthed to the body by sticking it to the metal uptight 2) the cable needs to be fed neatly and taped down so as to avoid any other functions (air bag comes to mind)
-
I've just bought a dab radio adapter and have to take the front pillar cover off to install the aerial, that also has an airbag behind it :-( scary stuff these modern motors
-
On a newish car like the delta you may well be reasonably safe from the brake/shockers scenarios and because they've probably never seen one before it might phase them a bit too. Keeping an eye on my fronts will have to do something soon
-
No time to do it as yet and a bit cold outside as garage is full of beta vx in pieces. Only thing that bugs me is having to put holes in side of steering wheel Surround
-
That's odd I think my front runs out first. And for some reason my trip is now slightly optimistic on mpg ........;-) But yes about 0.5 to 1 mpg under read originally
-
In my experience the mpg readout on my car when in standard tune is slightly pessimistic, I always fill to the brim each fill as I prefer not to waste time in filling stations and because I'm a sad case and like to keep on top of things I use the fuel friend android app. Did Grimsby to Cumbria in the limited 439 miles in miserable weather brimmed it today 45.91mpg and erm....I wasn't exactly hanging about ;-) average speed on the trip was just under 60 for whole distance so I must have been going just a BIT quicker sometimes. Had a couple of short trips whilst there in Stuart's twin turbo it is a lot more responsive at low revs but he didn't give it a lot of welly so no report on ultimate performance. Can't say the washer bottle bothers me, except for the inexcusable lack of a low level warning light, did you realise you have to pull up the centre filter piece? It's not very obvious. The seat is,as I've said before, a driving position issue you need to play with it a bit more seat height distance from pedals steering wheel extension and the lumbar support. I would recommend trying a tad higher and the seat back a bit more uptight, at first it may feel too upright but you may well find that is not the case I haven't really found the socket an issue but only use a short charging adaptor as I have standard sat nav

As regards kwikfit I had a quick look for my 18s and compared with black circles or tyre shopper they do seem to have the edge with the cashback, not sure I could bring myself to buy from them though their bad reputation has took them years of effort to build up and not sure that I should ignore it!
-
I hate tyre weld but never bothered to sort a spare having said that not had a puncture so I've been lucky. In most cases where the puncture is slow I would use the pump but without the gunk anyway as it's usually sufficient to get to a tyre depot. It really annoys me that they not only omit the wheel but also the jack
-
My car had new tyres on the front at 10k before I bought it and at 29k despite my steady driving ;-) I need new ones again!

That's one mega rare car in the uk, are the headlights blackened compared with usual delta ones?
-
S momo design wheels have simple small centre caps no chrysler design, the wheels are off the fiat bravo just painted in dark grey
-
The etched windows are complete nonsense no legal requirement it's a bunch of bandits that simply try to screw a registration fee off subsequent owners for what amounts to nothing. totally useless and pointless garbage, European cars don't have this crap it's typical of the rob what you can get UK charge for nothing culture.
-
I checked where I bought my grille and the price has doubled!! Shame as they sent it quickly and nicely packed.
-
All this rebranding makes me wonder about fiat and their lack of logic, even if they insisted on Chrysler for the UK they could have branded many of these items simply as delta and then not had to duplicate parts, I sometimes think someone changed as much as possible just to make it difficult to re brand it back.
-
Italian eBay is definitely the Best source the momo grille on there is about a third of the price from fiat, I think you would be wise to buy sooner rather than later as these (presumably) surplus stocks may not last long
-
At Julia and Stuart's today have to say that now I've seen the two together I think the momo grille possibly looks even better than the early waterfall style
-
Not looking too bad
