  1. No probs I was going anyway and a few other Italian car freaks are sure to be there
  2. Just a bump on this one, looks like it'll be good weather
  3. check the part numbers on line try looking on www.fiatdalys.lt to compare
  4. yes, still not fitted the illuminated sills though!
  5. I've fitted mine, they are nicely made and cover up the chrysler but I must admit they do not look very OE they would look better matt with a shiny logo than the current design, OE trims would have looked a lot better but as I am properly skint and in the midst of a dissolving marriage I had to economise
  6. I imagine it will be identical. I haven't had any time to investigate further it doesn't seem to leak significantly when the compressor isn't engaged so using the car is fine in the current cool weather. The condenser seems to be sandwiched between the inter cooler and the coolant radiator so I imagine it might be a pain to remove.
  7. yes should all be there, i don't know if it is from a stone but the leak is from an area of the matrix, with the A/C switched off there isn't a leak so it's just when the compressor runs. Now need to think how to fix it genuine part from fiat is over 300 quid but can get marelli item for about 110 or spurious one for about 80 for now just running with A/C off
  8. No but I think it's probably been hit by a stone unlucky as it would have to be aimed quite accurately to get through the grille
  9. Lots of steam puffing out my air con condenser seems to have sprung a leak
  10. don't do it that way you need to get the tracking done (by some one good enough to get the wheel straight) and then make sure that you disconnect the battery and allow the electric steering to relearn the centre position (at least i think that's how you do it reconnect battery then turn full lock in both directions) otherwise it'll try to pull to one side all the time.
  11. Well I checked on the auto Italia web page and any mention of price was suspiciously absent, on ginger beer promotions site it says £13 adult £3 kids so it would appear as ridiculously expensive as ever.....
  12. I'll try to do Stanford hall but will probably car share with Steve Thompson so might be in his volumex
  13. Not had this on mine, curiously I believe this is a common problem on grande puntos
  14. As the oe strips are going to be two or three times the price I might go the same route pity they aren't available without the logo as I'd prefer to put a lancia logo in the middle
  15. If you've never been to Cadwell park you don't know what you are missing! It is a very challenging and attractive circuit and whilst health and safety has hit it a bit there is still a very relaxed atmosphere there. This area of Lincolnshire is also particularly attractive completely different to the flat south of Lincolnshire
  16. I guess you removed the original plastic trim first?
  17. http://www.cadwellpark.co.uk/calendar/2015/june/vscc.aspx I thought this might make a good venue for an informal meet up, it is always a great meeting with lots of entertaining racing plus some truly superb rare cars in the car park and paddock. Can I suggest that anyone wanting to meet up parks in the area near Mansfield corner (fork off to the right after going through the main entrance from the A153) http://www.cadwellpark.co.uk/circuit-information.aspx#circuitMap I usually try to get there mid-morning so that there's plenty of time to look around before the racing starts.
  18. Yep wouldn't be at all surprised if he was designed by an Italian
  19. Not at all, I'm more like Marvin from hitchhikers he's my hero
  20. The annoying thing with the glass is that the etching is done AFTER manufacture by those international car register bandits infuriating really as the whole thing is a bit of a con and it bugs me that fiat are signed up to it
  21. Incidentally there have been some changes to the LMC FB page, since Julia gave up administration, effectively trying to close out non-members, try Lancia enthusiasts UK instead
  22. As I said earlier I find it rather ridiculous on entry prices, if you go with a car full it costs a fortune and tbh the cars are the show all brought their on your own fuel I really fail to see how auto Italia justify it. I rather suspected that the price has gradually eroded the attendance and could be why they changed it to an all comers meeting. I'll ask Julia and Stuart if they are going, they have a young Alsatian these days so does Stanford hall allow dogs? Bit of a trek for them though as they live in Cumbria
  23. No, too much other stuff to get in a stress over and, on the rare occasions when I have a little inspiration, still trying to finish rebuilding this
  24. I have mixed feelings about this one as it's quite pricey for what it is and since they watered it down from a purely Italian event it put me off completely. However having said that if we are having a delta 3 get together I might think about it! Not too sure that most hardened lancia fans are too bothered about the modern ones though but mine has provoked slight curiosity on occasions.
  25. the gearbox is essentially selespeed as per alfa romeo so if you do continue to have issues might be worth looking on an alfa forum
