Job done. Ordered actuator on Friday, arrived this morning. 20 minutes to fit. The only thing I had to do to get the old one off when I originally diagnosed the problem. Was to drill an access hole to get at the top T15 torx mounting screw, as the factory access hole is about 4cm too low and about 1.5cm to the left.

Thank you. I've already had it off to diagnose. I'll have a look tonight when I get home.

I'm trying to identify the pt number for the unit that engages the lock in the rhs sliding door. Having to do it manually at the moment. But sometimes I forget to do it. And although the alarm will go off if someone opens it, I'd prefer to have it functioning correctly. Was quoted nearly £500 yesterday, but the guy was unsure if he was identifying the correct part.

Does anyone know of an available parts fiche. I've tried a search with no success.

Parking Sensor Fault (Red Lights) - No Ticking Sound
Clutchnut replied to Jamesmf82's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
I've noticed mine get temperamental when it's been parked up in the rain. Doesn't last long before they're ok again. This has only been after damage appeared on the back bumper. Unfortunately, the sensors don't work for third parties. -
Isn't there an access hole in the disc that you can put a screwdriver through to turn the adjuster.

No Heating And Very Hot Seats
Clutchnut replied to Clutchnut's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
Ok. Just dropped the kids off. Heater and seats working as normal. So whatever it is hasn't completely failed yet. -
3.3 2006. Out yesterday, after about 40-50 miles the wife says she can smell burning rubber and at the same time realise that the vents are blowing cold. Turned the heater off and the smell went. After a minute turned the heater back on but still blowing cold. No smell though. Turn the seats on and after about 30 seconds they were way too hot. I haven't got much time to look for the problem myself. Has anyone had this experience and remember the location, otherwise I will have to take it in, which could be a big bill just for finding the fault, let alone the repair.

3.3 Petrol Won't Crank
Clutchnut replied to Andrips's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
If your code reader isn't connecting, that's usually the ecu not powering up. If your lights and everything else is powering up, then there's no reason for the switch live auxiliary socket not to work as well. It might be worth eliminating that issue first to make sure it's not part of the same problem. -
By expanded, I mean add monitors for the kids, if that's what I want to do in the future. At the moment I just need a head unit that will fit with no problems that doubles up as a sat nav. I've noticed allot of comments about it not being straight forward. I would like to know what people have fitted successfully.

Finally collected car. 2006 3.3 Ltd. So, doesn't have the sat/nav and dvd. Can anyone recommend an aftermarket one that will go straight in and can be expanded with additional screens, if required . I have one in my crv by eonon. This has a flip screen and can be expanded.

Ecu Fried After Jump-Start Due To Wrong Polarity
Clutchnut replied to praneetsrivastav's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
Probably a charging issue, may also be the battery. That's the starting point. Not only do you want to check the charge rate, but first you will want to check the drop when cranking it over. If it drops too low then the battery is most likely on its last legs. And then if the charge rate is too high or low then that is another issue to resolve. If you cook the ecu, it tends to be terminal. And it is battery season after all. -
New to the forum and to the car. Collecting a 2006 Gv hopefully the end of the week. It's a Ltd, so doesn't come with the dvd and sat nav. Is it possible to retro fit the system from a donor car. Ie, just bolt it in and plug it in. Has anyone done this. Not overly bothered, but found a whole set up cheap enough and appears to be from the same generation.
