I would put my money on the thermostat i think you will find out that when they go they stay open my one went and got quotes for hundreds and its a pig of a job because its right at the back of the engine so i done the good old renault 5 thermostat hack. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpfQLsWLiic hope this helps .

Had to do that about three or four times a year had the motor out regressed it with new grease but it still does it in the winter sometimes so i try to use the windows two or three times a day in the winter.

Are you on about the heater control panel and the heated seats and hazard light panel if so they are soldered to the circuit board .

If the traction control light is on i would put my money on it being the abs speed sensors have gone this happened to my old girl two or three years ago so on to ebay got some for £9 each so said sod it and done them all .

Have had the same thing with my 2.5 grand since i have had the old girl it smokes just after startup then goes i think its just condensation build up in the exhaust and the only time it will ever bother me is if it dont go away on startup .

First thing i would be looking at is if you have a amp in the back of boot area for the stereo have been known to play up and drain the battery as i have had one go on me and as for the battery i would only fit a 800CCA or higher in a grand hope this might help m8.

If they are like my 2004 grand the centre console display for heated seats etc are all soldered to the circuit board had all my bulbs go on the centre console and light switch so soldered green LED bulbs in looks the nuts but what a job you have to take the circuit board out .

On my 2.5crd the gas got low and the ac clutch stopped working got a regas done and away we go job done hope this helps.

Had the same problem do what gordon said i got the small parts kit bag of bits off ebay ripped all the old out and in with the new springs brake shoe pins and new adjuster and a way we go . but as for the clock spring adjuster on the handbrake ratchet my grand didnt have a adjuster on the handbrake ratchet .

Hi there what engine size is your grand as i got a deiphi from ebay and never did get it to connect to my 03 2.5 crd voyager but it connected to a vauxhall and bmw ok so i no it works ok.

I have the 2.5 had the same problem as you found out it was the fuel filter took the old one out didn't look that bad but found like this slimy snotty clear stuff in the filter pop new one in running like a dream now hope this might help m8.

On my grand V all the fascia trim around the radio and heater control pops off in one four screws paste this on youtube ( Chrysler Dodge Grand Voyager Caravan 2004 (2001-2007) Radio Removal ) the top video by Andy Brown will help you a lot it did me hope this helps m8 .

Has anyone had a crankshaft sensor go on there Grand voyager 2.5 or 2.8 crd if so what was there symptoms and did you get the engine management light come on or a code on the key dance as i have got the dreaded engine cut out problem again witch i fort i had sorted the problem out car starts fine all the time driving a long accelerate hard and it cuts out no lights come up on dash to say its cut out like battery light abs airbag or fuel lights pull over turn the ignition off and on again give it a second then starts first time and away you go any info or help will be great as i have a very big club hammer dying to meet my voyager lol .

Same here drive it like i stole it when the wife and kids are not in the car lol but never had understeer i would say bushes or tracking like scrufgp said.

jonwright what engine have you got m8 as i got one for my 2.5 crd could never get it to work on my chrysler had it working on bmw and vauxhall but would never link with my voyager.

Have you got the amp in the back I had a speaker go on me and found out that I had the speakers with the built-in amps on the top of the speakers and not the amp in the back got one off eBay job done hope this might help .

The pipe i got was ok just used a bit of spit lol to lube up the pipe so it went on a bit more easier .

Just done my power steeling belt on a 2.5 crd engine witch i think are similar to the 2.8 had to get a tool to do the job as there is no adjustment for the belt got quotes 35 to 90 pounds for the tool but got one from ebay for a tenner done the job hope this helps. look on ebay for a laser Stretchy Belt Installation Tool .
