The U S light clusters fit but they don't have fog lights or reversing lights built in. I got round this by adding high intensity leds into the units. Works well. You have to fiddle with the wiring connectors and finding the wire for the fog light was problematic until I realised that instead of looking for a power feed you should be looking for the switched earth.

Newbie Hello And Looking For Help On A Grand Voyager
Neilgibson replied to MikeHunt's topic in Newbie Forum
DIesel particulate filters weren't fitted until the latest model in 2008 as far as I am aware. Diesel in the oil can often be identified by the smell. Leak off testing is well within the scope of the home mechanic using a homemade tester. I am surprised that the exhaust isn't mentioned. No smoke? High pressure diesels don't run well on faulty injectors. A broken piston ring is also possible. -
Grand Voyager 2.8Crd Which Gearbox Will Fit?
Neilgibson replied to newtothis's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
I'm in Dartford Kent. Where are you? Do you notice the difference in the final drive ratio? Unfortunately it moves the torque converter clutch lock up point from an indicated 42 mph (already too high) to about 46 mph. High speed economy is probably better but not town driving. This is where a speedo healer is worth a go. -

I didn't mention the diff bolt and wasn't as thorough as yourself so I can attest to the fact that ignoring it made no difference. Well there goes my scheme for selling petrol transmissions at inflated prices! -

Limp Mode - No Codes - All Gears Lit? Help Please
Neilgibson replied to Chryslerwise's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
Replaced a solenoid pack this week to try curing a slightly clunky change now and again. Tranny went into limp mode but no fault codes. However when looking at live readings I noticed the fluid temperature was reading minus19 degrees. Cleaned the valves and filters on the original and all was good. I have heard the temp sensor was in the range sensor but apparently not it's in the solenoid pack. If you happen to be a member of the country's biggest breakdown organisation they carry the software and will do a diagnostic check for you. -

I can only repeat get some live readings not fault codes which can occur for unrelated reasons. The rev counter works from the crank sensor but the speedo from the gearbox output sensor -

I should add your fault code related to low fuel pressure. Possibly caused by a failing battery and slow cranking. A red herring? -

Speedo relies on a signal from the gearbox output sensor. Your local AA man carries the software to get live readings from the transmission. Join. Your gearbox "specialist" seems to be guessing. At your expense. Output sensors are pennies compared to the cost of a new solenoid pack. -

It occurs to me that some of us are overlooking a valuable source of information and spare parts by not looking in the right places. Go on to EBay. Set your search settings for worldwide then change your vehicle details for town and country or dodge caravan. You might be surprised. Look for A604 or 41 te ( transmission) parts and they are all there in abundance. I recently had a pair of new custom tail lights sent over from California for the same money that I sold my one unbroken unit in the Uk.
