The 1.4 multiair (especially with front tyres approaching the wear limit) when exiting junctions, can spin wheels for Ireland!!!The system takes a second or 2 to rein in the spinning wheel, while the light is flashing. I have often spun the inside wheel in 4th gear in corners during spirited back road driving Hehehe

Great help right there

As far as I remember, FCA have a deal with Meta for the factory/supplier/dealer fit alarms. In my recollection there's a backup battery built in. There's a 4 year-ish lifetime on those batteries, it sounds like the siren battery is on it's last legs and dropping under voltage and sounding. If you can get a type number off the siren you may be able to find 1, I have a few (Fiat) ones still new in a box somewhere, if they are the same, you're welcome to one to see if it sorts you out

Delta S Coming Up For Sale At Auction Soon.
Andrewgrale replied to MikeyRules's question in Chrysler Delta
Ours has 58k miles and also still on the original Michelins at the rear! -
I am lucky to have a job that pays me enough, to keep me in the style to which I have become accustomed !!! Seriously though, I have a car fund, from which I pay for my next car, I usually pay it back over 18 months and keep topping it off until the car is 3 years old or a hundred thousand kilometres, which ever comes 1st PCP is a merry go round that I can't abide and I agree with you both regarding its long term business implications

Mikey, I bought the car I wanted, in the specification and colour I wanted, for a reasonable price and I didn't have to wait for some yank to tear the clutch out of it! The girls at home love it and I got a reasonable trade in for my old Punto I agree about the estate being a bit of a looker! I thought that the UK only have the hatchback? Fiat Ireland opted for the full range

Fiat Bravo 2007> should be the same -
I bought a brand new Tipo diesel saloon last May. Lounge spec, very well equipped, great comfort, half pleather interior, great heater, well built, good economy 65mpg average (and I don't even try) good road holding and all this for 20k euros (around 16k pounds) it's a no brainer really!!!

Hehehehe :-D

It's a 1.4 multiair and the heating system is similar to her previous Bravo, which heated up like Beelzebubs naughty room . .
-
My wife says that is fair exchange! She will hit you in the man jewellery and you can defrost the windscreen !!!!
-
My wife's Delta heater is very poor, she does mostly short spins (school and work) her previous Bravo heated up wayyyy faster and had a far superior heater. Wondering if anyone has noticed this and can offer a solution???
-
I'd start with the simple things 1st and check the battery connection, then the earth lead, where it's bolted onto the chassis There are several earth points around both chassis legs
-
If they were in white, a Klan member with Italian taste would love them !!!

The pony express arrived . . Now to coordinate getting the car from Mrs

I buy mine in Lidl!Get the H7 +50% light . . Around €4.99 a pair! That said, to change them requires the dexterity of a piano playing, double jointed, ambidextrous midwife :-O Someone here (Nello?) Is still missing a small screwdriver in the left-hand wing area, since he did his !!!!
-
1 quick suggestion would be to try a new pair of dip light bulbs, before you go through the trial that would be headlight unit removal! My wife's Delta lights were very poor when I drove it over having bought it in the UK Both bulbs were working, but both (!) were black inside when I removed them. The difference afterwards was night and day

Delta 12 Plate: Rear Light Cluster Info....
Andrewgrale replied to Penguin2007's question in Chrysler Delta
Neil, i found that a babies bottle brush worked well on ours (which is white and I agree that the moss and crud looked awful!) -
Professional upvc cleaner worked wonders on my sister in laws Toyolet (which had failed our National Car Test, aka MOT) Any good window fitter or DIY store should have it A little elbow grease and there should be avast improvement

We spent 4800 and bought from Arnold Clark in Staffordshire I exported it back here to Ireland, due to a lack of petrol engined options over here! It's a 2012 SE multiair with 48k and FSH, to replace my wife's 08 Bravo. She's delighted with it as it's so different from the run of the mill Toyolets and Hyundrys! Plenty of go and nothing but tyres and normal servicing so far. Theres a DRL on the way, but it's minor in the grand scheme of things! Good luck in your search :-D
