Well, I know that here in Ireland, the AM wavebands are being wound down with most stations now going to FM and digital. But is your ariel wire and wand in good condition??
-
Great news and glad that we could help
-
I just put a bit of plumber lagging beneath the wheel to raise it up and support the cover
-
I don't think that anyone has :-)
-
I agree, although the cover that is there on the right, restricts water easy access to the air filter casing, so maybe that's it's purpose on that side?? Well, that's my thinking on the reason for it not being on the passenger side!

Start Stop And Battery. Anyone Has The Start Stop Actually Working?
Andrewgrale replied to Dido's question in Chrysler Delta
Before I traded in my last Punto, I swapped its battery with my wife's car and the stop start began working again, but only for a few weeks, I'm with Kapetan regarding S/S usefulness -
I don't think that there is any cover on the left side, I remember thinking that was missing from my wife's Delta, but I can't find a number on eper
-
If that's your problem, it could be a vent or a window open, possibly even something hanging in the back of the car??
-
Anything is possible!! As Neal said, there may be a difference, but I would say that would be in the handle cables that run through the door from handle to lock??
-
Well done You Sir!!! Great to see people doing practical work right :-D

I have a 2001, 110hp, 1910cc Marea sx saloon with 230000 miles and still the original 1st day EGR valve which has been dismantled and cleaned 3 times, I use brake cleaner to get the worst off it, then an hour and a half in the ultrasonic cleaner and it's clean as a whistle, I now clean it at each timing belt change at 70k miles! Hope this is of some help??

Oh you little devil Neil!!!!
-
2 things from your post.. 1, I call my wife "the dentless paint removal system"!! 2, I use Pirelli P7 as they have rim protection ridges which work on my 17 inch rims, fitted to my Tipo
-
Yes, they're still 55w but are xenon gas filled instead of halogen so are a lot brighter, but the poly-elliptical lenses on the Delta handles them well and gives a good beam of light You will probably notice that the old bulbs have blackened with age by now
-
+1 on the knuckle skinning quality of Delta bulb replacement, you need the dexterity of a double jointed, ambidextrous, piano playing midwife to cope with the carry on of bulbs in the Delta How old is your car?? The more pertinent question is, how many MOTs has it done, where they check the headlight alignment and all was fine??? I would just recommend that you replace the bulbs with uprated equivalents, Lidl and Aldi do a pair of +90% H7 bulbs for a fiver, you can't go wrong with that, then find an independent garage with the proper headlight alignment gear and spend the 30 quid on getting it done properly

Most electrical problems are due to dirty connections or blown fuses -

A tap of a hammer??? Fixes a lot of niggly electrical issues -
1 x 2lb hammer + 1 x centre punch = drain hole :-D The maths are irrefutable!!
-
How many fingers am I holding up??? Generally you need to start at the battery and work your way out to the various connections and controllers, pay particular attention to any fuses and any connections Did this problem start suddenly or did it develop over a period of time??
-
There MUST be a drain hole in there somewhere, open it!!!
-
Probably just condensation so??? If you know a painter with an oven, it would be worthwhile seeing if you can put your car in for an hour with the windows open
-
Who do ya think he learned it from :-D
-
Drill a hole in the lowest point of the wheel well, if the water is getting in, it can get back out again! Don't forget that rubber seals perish with age and may not be sealing the gaps as effectively as when new
-
Hahaha, he who hesitates is lost! I offered 55 quid and bought for 62 :-D
