Cheers, thanks for the replies...I will give it a try.

Hi All I think my Delta needs a battery replacement as it still has the original from 2012. Does anyone know if I can disconnect the old battery and replace without having a diagnostics tool to reprogram? In other words, is it DIY job for this type of vehicle? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi I have a 2012 Chrysler Delta auto, diesel, silver with 56K on the clock and FSH. This vehicle is immaculate and is my pride and joy...It is a reluctant sale but I will be moving to Europe in the new year and need to find a new owner. If this is of interest then let me know. I am in the Manchester area. Many thanks -
Hi My Delta (1.6 Diesel Auto) is starting to act like a capricious Italian maiden Last year the parking sensors intermittently indicated "no parking assist available"...This problem seems to have resolved itself for about 10 months until recently. If I put the car in reverse the warning indicator on the dash comes on and stays on. I have become accustomed to the "beep, beep" and it is particularly useful when I am reversing out of the shopping centre car park and some old dear comes "flying" past behind me in an electric wheelchair...really, its happened on more than one occasion! I have cleaned the sensors from the outside and checked the wiring in the boot. Has anyone experienced this problem and are the sensors activated by the gearbox? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi I have done approximately 45K on my 2012 Delta...still smooth as silk. It will be due for a service in the next few 1000 miles. ...advice needed...when should a timing/cam belt change be done on this model? Any input would be appreciated

I also have Bosch wipers and am not too impressed either. These are about 10 months old and they do not wipe well directly in my line of vision. MOT is now due so I have ordered a set as mentioned. I am looking to replace the cabin filter and they did not do it on my last service. Found found this on amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mecafilter-ELR7119-Filter-interior-air/dp/B00DJ5W8Q2/ref=sr_1_8?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1520509401&vehicle=20-272-10298-55232-1-0&sr=1-8 ...any comments?

Contacted a Chrysler breakers yard...they quoted £102 per used coil. Arnold Clark still supply new parts for the Delta. They quoted £120 for a new coil so it was a no brainer. I replaced both and have a spare rear coil if anyone is looking for one.

Does anyone know where to find the paint code on the Delta?

Cheers ...thanks

Hi I have had the misfortune of braking a rear suspension coil on my 2012 Delta. To date I have had no luck in sourcing new parts. The chassis on the Delta is a Fiat C2 chassis which is shared by the fiat Bravo...does anyone know if I could use Fiat Bravo coils as replacement? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

Yes...nice bloke. Will definitely be getting more business from me.

Ok job done...a little bit of head scratching as we were not successful at first but it appears that the ECU in the Delta is the same as the one in the Alfa 159. That sorted all the problems.
-
I forgot to mention, it is difficult to clean between the lens and the casing. Seems to be one whole unit. I did not try to separate these. I suggest using a cocktail stick and ear bud.

Ok job done!...but its one of those that "if it ain't broke don't try to fix"...however this has given me some satisfaction as the light which illuminates the boot was not working. Was not the bulb...the wiring was never connected at the factory!...all sorted. I have attached some pics about the dirty lens "before and after". You will need the correct size allen key to loosen the black plastic nuts unless you open your beer bottles with your eyelids. Give it a try

Hi, no longer work there but the boss has added a 1960's Alfa Zagato SZ to his already impressive collection. I believe that the bodywork on these were all handmade from sheets of steel so there isn't one that is "exactly" the same as another.
