From the plug diagrams ( thank you ) its got the 22 pin what sends the signal to the amp from the ebay link the amp must be in the rear panel at the top near the plug leads prob then powered buy the amp I can use the signal lead from the old circuit to run a live down from the aux live wire so wont flatten batt cheers dave -

After Putting up with the crap satnav and no Bluetooth Ive fitted a parrot smart unit within the dash with a bit of cutting around the facia I had to remove the amp in the back , and make some connections with the wires coming to it from the front also fitted a high pass over for the 4 tweeters in the system It all works fine BUT HERES THE ISSUE the FM reception is low I've connected the aerial to the unit and checked the connections to the rear window Is there any power amp within the aerial run , that was fed by a live wire from the old unit any help on this matter would be good cheers dave

Auto Cooler Pipes
david49west replied to david49west's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
sorted it , theres a very small o ring inside the female socket replace it with something near enough and seems ok thanks for viewing -
There are 2 cooler pipes that come from the auto box to the cooler that sits in front of the main radiator these connections are quick push fit with a c shape clip that secures the pipe into a female cup mine have been disturbed due to an engine change and one is leaking Ive been on to the main dealer who want to sell me a new cooler instead of the screw in cups anyone had any dealings with these buggers Dave

After changing the fuel housing ( although second hand ) the car has started the same issues as before as these mickey mouse housing are plastic and bolted to one of the most noisy and vibrating engines ever designed expect they are prone to this im looking at alternatives if anyone has any idears

thing is just before I read your post I was about to change the pump only to have found it would have made no difference so thanks again dave
-
All sorted cheers for the advice prob was not only did it have a cracked housing ( leaking out of heater plug connection ) also had a crack in the water sensor that screws in bottom of filter change them both but not at the same time
-
Have changed the housing and a new filter the white plastic nut on mine is a water sensor what is tight When you say the pump has a low pressure part could this side of the pump be faulty
-
Ok thanks for those pointers Since the post Ive removed the tank and there is no pump in there just a housing that holds the fuel gauge float I have all ready changed the valve in the fuel rail I will point out that the motor has never cut out once running I expect that the pump must have a suction side to it as there is no lift pump , and I expect this side of the pump is failing as the problem got worse and harder to start with priming , I have rebuilt this engine so most of the stuff has been checked ill change the pump tomorrow ill report back thanks again for all your help
-
I have the late 2.8 diesel 2007 The motor will only start if I prime the button on the filter housing up to a hard button I have change the housing and the filter What I would like to know is there a lift pump in my tank should I be able to here a pump running when I turn on the ignition having lots of conflicting answers cheers dave
