To add on Andy's inspection, mine when was faulty, the "magnetic" bit of the sensor was covered in black staff and slightly damaged. Try removing them and clean the surface with an alcoholic product.

Previous No Start Question
mikebh8 replied to blackvelvet's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
Been there, with 11 months old battery I couldn't get the car started after replacing the engine, I had to buy a new battery... -
After removing the wheel is the center big nut (only the drive wheels will have it, in our case front wheels), mine has a locking pin that goes through the driveshaft keeping the nut to undo, I don't know if all the models will have that. My knocking is from the two bolts that hold the shock absorber thighten to the wheel assembly, when I steer to the left, and then going straight the cara puul to the left, when I steer to the right comes back in place, it a next on the list to replace all shock absorbers.

If you want my suggestion regarding the software, anything less than £50 it won't do the job. I tried cheap ones until I found "Delphi ds150e which is Bluetooth, I never made mine working Bluetooth but I have seen mechanics using it wireless. An old laptop (as I suggested to other forum members) with no firewall, no antivirus and no internet connection and it will do the trick. Hope it helps.

I've added some to the reply in the meantime.

If the fault is related to the "track off" future I'd look at the front ones, a decent diagnostic tester would indicate which one is or if is a faulty wire negative or positive. Sometimes is not just the case of replacing it... could be wires, plugs or bearings. Before buying anything try to narrow it down... Also (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the "trackoff" future is the equivelant of the "ESP" which stands for Electronically stability program or ESC which is Electronically stability control, none of them has anything to do with the ABS which stands for "Anti-lock breaking system", they are somehow related as they work through the same sensor but are doing separate things. Recently I was working on a car with fault " front left speed sensor no signal, permanent" (something like that...it wasn't so recent to remember) and as I was taking the wheel off and it seemed a bit too loose, the driveshaft nut was undone...I have no idea how come but that was it. Another example if you want, a friend of mine after paying £90 plus labour at a garage for an abs sensor, came to me with the fault and was a broken wire under the car... Hope it helps.

Dp you have problems with any of the sensors? They need changing?
-
My point of view, no badges means they were worn out and so someone removed them, or the tailgate was painted for some reason and for that they removed them even if in good shape. You can always ask and see if he sims honest about it but it should have the stickers on. Hope it helps.

Front Handbrake Cable Problem...
mikebh8 replied to Clint221's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
It is 2004 2.5 crd manual. I tried the sequence to recalibrate the clutch with no luck, it seems even worse. But the adjuster in the picture I like, where the hamdbrake cable with the two that go to the wheels is there any bolts nuts that can be tighten (I didn't have time today as I had to go to work) but tonight or tomorrow morning I'll have a look. Thank you. -

I managed to make a short video to show what the software is about. It can be seen at the following link: https://youtu.be/vSTSrzcjOVU It is not the best quality as my usual screen capture software is down and I just downloaded a random one which is not great, future videos ( if needed) will be improved. There was a problem with uploading it, no it's working.

yes it has,I took a screenshot of the 2.8 crd. that's what it comes up, if the mouse is moved over the diagram, on the right hand side it enlarges. And more, a lot more.

Engine Management Light And Won’T Select Top Gear
mikebh8 replied to Victorthevoyager's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
One of your questions was " where can I find a list of fault codes" That software it gives you that. Look on YouTube "autodata 3.45" It does not connect to anything, is just a database full of useful info... It's free and you don't have to take up any survey to be able to download it. Otherwise, find the faults and post them here, I'll look for them. P.S. if you want a goodish software to connect to the car get "Delphi 150e", I have it for a while now and recently a friend of mine came to me after going to a " mechanic" and his software couldn't see the faults that mine read...is not even expensive is about 50-60 pounds and you need a laptop off the grid( no firewall, no antivirus and no internet connection) Hope it helps. -
Engine Management Light And Won’T Select Top Gear
mikebh8 replied to Victorthevoyager's question in Voyager 4th Generation (2001-2007)
Hi, get the software I posted in "fault codes and more" plus andyb2000's added files, read the replies. Start with checking the gearbox oil...that's the easiest check, does it rev nice in reverse?
