  1. Signore e Signori - delighted to learn that Auto Italia have finally realised there is value outside of London and are bringing Auto Italia back to Stanford Hall - September 29th - https://www.facebook.com/events/2232103593539824/ I will definately be there - this was always my favourite venue going back to the Alfa Romeo Days especially as fairly local although not sure which car I will in be. Will confirm nearer the time. Also MITCAR - the Midlands Italian car day - MITCAR 2019 will be at Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works near Coventry (Prologis Park nr Ryton on Dunsmore) on Saturday 31 August. A fantastic venue - the largest classic car type operation of its type in the world! Normal admission is £49 per adult, but at MITCAR admission will be included in a small charge per car - likely under £10 per car. TO BE CONFIRMED. A VAST saving. Again I will be there in one Italian or another - even closer to me this one - I used to work on the line at Ryton for Peugeot Talbot! Be great to see any of you there if you can make it!
  2. Great to hear you have other Lancia's............... I have had Beta's and Fulvia's in the past as well as a load of other Italians over the years. In fact almost exclusively Italian. Nello is the Italian pseudonym for Neil - plus there used to be a Pizza restaurant (and they were fairly scarce at the time going back to the 70's/early 80's) in my home town Coventry called 'Nello's'............
  3. I rarely think to going on that forum for some reason Cassino. I have never joined the Lancia Club as thought £50 was a bit pricey. Good idea though Cassino although I don't think the black lines would look too good on my white car. I might add some clear silicone seal..........
  4. I've got some 'No more Nails'?
  5. Tried using some double-sided tape for my headrests but they came off the next day. Anyone suggest anything else to use?
  6. On the topic of LED's - has anyone found any LED bulbs to go in the rear number plate lights that don't cause CANBUS errors? If I read the Italian forums right you need an in-line resistor as well.....

Agreed as well although that Martini Racing one looks good if not completely unfeasible with those wheels/arches. The Delta 3 still looks fresh IMO - Frank Stephenson did a great job. In some ways the reason the Delta 3 failed here was not just because of the Chrysler branding - Anyone with interest in the Delta badge expected a new Integrale and completely missed the point that this Delta echoes the pre- Fiat Lancia's which were know for style and comfort. And yes Mike like the Momo S - I have seen some OE kits that were available from new but they do not look good to me..........
  8. Yep another step - I used a drop of superglue and they haven't budged....................
  9. Hi vincey - Is your roof shiney then or Matte? I have the brochure with colours available so will look it all up to confirm and try to add here. Glad the bumper off worked ok. I thought they all had that polystyrene block? Mine certainly did. Good work again anyway mate.
  10. vincey / TJB - there is a thread somewhere on here (I can find it later if needed) where I replaced the back-box on my 1.4 MA. I used a brand new one that was advertised for a Bravo. It was an exact and identical fit - for £30 new! I am sure if you are able to look at the T-Jet Sport back system closely you will find its identical too - I cannot guarantee I will add as a caveat - but the 1.4 MA one was.............
  11. Nice colour too! Is that what they called Bronze Savannah? I'm not actually a sun-roof fan but like a nice Ltd!
  12. Not too far in Coventry
  13. Yes the only Momo cars I have seen are all the 1.6 MJ - again shout anyone if you see another!
  14. Yes welcome Andrew - that's a great buy for the money! I'd have been looking at that if I had known - would really like an S if anyone see's another! What engine? If you need any advice about the Lancia stuff just ask us here
  15. No problem mike - Kenilworth is literally 5 mins drive from me so let me know the next time you are in the area. Do you have the original Sales brochure/book? If not I have a spare copy you can have when you are around here. Cheers
  16. Deltamike I've just had a look through my Sales brochure and the SR 17" was darker as OE (Code 432) - there was a similar wheel in Silver but it was 16" only (Code 431) as per below. Are you sure they have not just been refurbished without the colour? The only other 17" factory wheels were the 7 twin-spoke design which you could get in either silver or chrome'ed effect finish.
  17. Yeah don't list to that MikeyRules - he's a bodge-it merchant .......... Whichever way you do the Grille the retaining clips will break off! I was very gentle and still broke a few. Were those the cloth headrests on ebay? I was watching them but holding out for a leather seat. You just won't find them without the seats. I've got some Lancia logo's to stick on like someone else did but still not got around to fixing them. People have no idea what that wing is anyway. One of my lads works for Aston Martin and he thought it was their wing logo to start with! There are some online eper sites but you need to access them in the evenings as they are too busy in the day and you always get knocked off. I will check part numbers for you asap. I just went with the stick-on badges tbh - the black and chrome logos go well. They do last although I change them every year or so - they are only about a fiver for a set. I'm too tight to fork out £80 or so for a set from Italy though I might get around to it at some point. Incidentally did you know if you secure a part number from eper you can order anything via a UK Fiat dealer. If its on eper they can get it for you. I even sourced my replacement MA Actuator from Research in Nuneaton. I think the etching was done with a Watchmakers glass polishing kit which you can polish out the old logos. The sill plates I had a Lancia logo made up - its on one of the threads. Pity you are not nearer - anyway enjoy the car and standing out from the crowd. Any issues/questions just ask here...............
  18. Welcome back Vincey - sounds nice - and a Ltd perhaps? Piccys are a must here! My wife has a 500X - good car - yes not the biggest room but a good all-rounder - out 1.6 MJ has just achieved nearly 54 MPG and the performance in SPORT mode is surprising. It replaced her old Sedici which was great as well - we do miss the true 4x4.
  19. Well done Mike - looks good and very similar to my car. I think the Silver wheels were an option but would need to check on my brochures. Just shout if you need any advice about the badging excercise - I wrote the original thread about changing the grille - I prefer the waterfall one as well - looks more original Lancia to me. I did the proper long way around install by removing the bumper although it can be done without......
  20. Dido as I have commented before - my mate runs Motormech in central Birmingham. I know he and another friend of mine have used these before with positive comments - although I have not used them myself yet - again in central Brum very close to Motormech - https://www.citywheelrefurbishment.co.uk/
  21. Well done Lampard - me and Mikey have been the mainstay of the Delta section since the start really - glad the car has passed on to good hands. Whereabouts in the midlands are you?
