27k when we bought ours so done 47k ourselves........... Most miles for a single owner in a Delta 3?
-
I've always had Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance on mine but I am on 17"............. Can we see some photos of your car! The MK.3 Delta follows in the tradition of FCA C segment cars IMO being stiffly sprung - probably because of the extended wheelbase. I would not have imagined Wheel/Tyre size would have made that much noticeable difference in economy ............ but ride yes. We sacrificed that with my wifes 500X being on 18" wheels but smaller sized alloys ride far better but do not look as good - its the price you pay.

I'm not so sure I have mine either TBH although the battery has definitely been disconnected before when I had my replacement MA Actuator and I still have radio function?

Defo - I'm on 74K now!

1.4 140Hp Limited Torque And High Fuel Consumption
Nello replied to kapetanikolas's question in Chrysler Delta
Not definitely not normal. You should see boost in every gear. -
What engine is your car Gafis? Welcome BTW..............
-
Hi and welcome - good to see another new owner. Not aware of any dash issues like these - sounds like it might be the dash illumination which are possibly bulbs behind the dash pod? New one to me. The rear light will probably be due to an issue with one of the LED's - once one goes they tend set off the others. As far as I am aware you cannot replace them individually so would be interested to see how they fixed? It was probably done as new the clusters are circa £250 to replace although you can get them from Italy if you know where to look (we can help on here!) for half that...........It might be worth checking on any Fiat Bravo forum re: the dash issue as they are effectively the same car so similar build/asssembly processess unless anyone else on here knows..........

1.4 140Hp Limited Torque And High Fuel Consumption
Nello replied to kapetanikolas's question in Chrysler Delta
Yes I had something similar to this once I'd had my Turbo replaced. No boost - the dash gauge only went up 1 or 2 marks etc. I had to have the Breather Unit replaced - they are about £60. Scanner detected a P0033 Turbocharger bypass valve - circuit malfunction. - poor connection at the Boost control valve. Get a scanner on it and see if it reads the same. Replacement and cleared error sorted it all for me. -

Does the Turbo gauge on the dash display go up as normal? -

Agree with Andrew - my MA Turbo goes really well considering the cars dimensions. Boost-leak perhaps? Definitely not normal........ Welcome to the forum BTW and hope you get it sorted. -
Loud Clicking Noise Climate Control Area Of Dash!?
Nello replied to MikeyRules's question in Chrysler Delta
I think at least two my flap actuator motor 'gears' have snapped.. They are nigh-on impossible to get to. I've managed to move the upper flap open to get air to the screen but I even seem to only get hot air as well now.......... Really don't want to remove the entire dash. Not entirely sure how that reset procedure works or how to interpret the display but if my suspicions are correct it'll probably read as working ok as I think the motors themselves are fine - its just with the broken internal cogs they are simply not moving anything. Common issue on Bravos apparently with the same heater. This is the bit that fails - -
Loud Clicking Noise Climate Control Area Of Dash!?

Mikey did you ever sort this out before selling your car? -
The Part numbers will be different - if you have access to eper you can cross reference FCA part numbers against other makes/models that use the same part
-
Oooohh headlight washers - does that mean it has the fancy turning light thingys?
-
Oii wots wrong with White Non-Italian!
-
So took out Glovebox and some associated trim. It seems the Delta Heater is even more inaccessible than the Bravo's - though the same unit. I can hear the actuator motors working but no flaps so it appears it is the common Bravo issue with broken actuator motor plastic internal cogs. Gave up not wanting to remove my entire dash - managed to see the upper motor which controls air flow to the screen so was able to push the flap cog around with a long screwdriver to direct air to the screen - not more misting up at least........... Horrible job to fix.
-
Yep another shout out for Paul Gilbert who owns MotorMech - http://www.motor-mech.co.uk/index.asp - He can fix almost anything - and if not specifically for the 300C will know someone who can. Right underneath Moor Street station......
-
Seriously going to have to look at this now - did not predict the 3 degrees here overnight - took an age to get the screen clear this morning. Misting like mad. Looks like not only is my dual-zone flap motor not working (different temps either side) bit the screen to floor flap appears out as well!
-
Well done - I'm not brave enough to do a belt! 111K is a bit much for a first time change though - well caught!
-
My Mum's partner has had quite a few 75's - they are flippin' heavy! ...... Comfy and quite spacious though. And I used to live next door to someone who was high up within the Rover Group who had at one point the 4.6 ZT V8...... Sounded ace! My next four-door has to be a Ghibli
-
Thanks Spud - my pleasure - As mentioned I still have not management approval yet (the Wife!) so may be some time yet.................
-
Nice one - were they just stick-on?
-
Well done Mike. What are those Sill covers? Don't forget to give me shout if you are ever over to Kenilworth.
-
Don't think I have even seen a car/Ltd with the Magic Parking fitted - or the moving headlights (or have I imagined those?!) Fully optioned up they were expensive cars in comparison and I don't think anyone here was brave enough to put up the money for a Chrysler compared to the Fords etc. of the day.
