  1. Hi Ian - As you can probably see from my posts and logo - same with me as a fellow Lancisti! What model is yours? I know what you mean about the Gear-Knob - its a bit bulbous.....This is what I can see on eper - suggests the Box Pattern 'Graphic' comes off and a bolt underneath? http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u241/yardelli/deltagear_zpsca85d867.jpg
  2. Newdelta - did downloading that Software change the Chrysler logo to a Lancia one on the dial display and Sat-Nav?
  3. Chris - when I checked mine I noticed that the 'enamel' finish only goes up to the edge flush with the bodywork. Where the panel wraps around the pillar looks indeed untreated hence why we are seeing these issues. Mine does look at least undercoated around there (plus not under warranty now!) so I will put up with. Actually mine do not seem to have corroded for now but longer term it'll probably be on the likely side.....
  4. Nello is very chuffed - the one good thing about the Delta now being unavailable in the UK is the dealers are trying to dispose of all their options............. Just found some factory Illuminated sills for £30 They were three-figure crazy money as a new option from your local friendly dealer.... I'll post photos once fitted
  5. Can't do any harm twe though I stopped using my Pressure washer years ago when it blew some paint off my old 156 sill.........
  6. I would have thought the wiring for the rear wiper will exit from the top of the hatch somewhere twe (my cars not to hand). Check that its not being caught/snagged by the tail closing..........
  7. Brake lights on/off - Hill Stop on/off. Sounds like a gremlin within the entire braking system..... Ask the dealer to go through the entire braking system with a tooth-comb - especially the sensors. Sounds like the car is not sure when you a braking/requiring the car to be hill-held etc. Must be a sensor somewhere. (though brake lights are normally push-button/sensor activated by the pedal.) Hope you get it sorted.
  8. Yes thanks T - I will check up the wiring but I would have thought it would have knocked out more than just a couple of LED's if that were the case........and hopefully no corrosion just yet!! I also might have expected a warning on the dash like flav had. Will see and report back!
  9. No mate - The MultiAir engine has Stop-Start - Thats the system that cuts the engine when you come to a halt in neutral with your foot off the clutch.
  10. Strange - no errors on the dash for me.... I'll see how it goes - cheers anyway
  11. Ahhh...sorry to hear. Hope you get it sorted. Again I'd reccomend Paul Gilbert at MotorMech - http://www.motor-mech.co.uk/ Central Birmingham so a bit of a trek but a real Italian enthusiast who won't rip you off....
  12. Pauls not open Sunday - Sat AM? His Mrs Svet answers the phone...... mention Neil Yardley
  13. Did yours do the same then fleraflav? Seems to be the bottom 3 LED's on the NSR light and occasionally 2 in the middle? Its not all the time though bizarrely?
  14. The MultiAir with Stop/Start has an additional sensor on it measuring battery voltage. I removed mine to try to charge the battery as the Stop/Start has stopped functioning. When you reconnect you get a series of errors as the car thinks the battery has been totally disconnected - thats why I asked. If the system is working OK I'd guess its just a sensor issue to alert to the dash. Would not worry about it stopping functioning. Check the rear brakes as I think it works by a senor actuating the rear calipers. Might just need a reseat.....
  15. I'm no expert in that area but I've used Paul Gilbert at MotorMech for years. Italian car specialist. He has looked after all my Italians for a long time. I'm sure he will have the tool required to reset this for you. And he won't charge the earth either. Great bloke and an real Italian enthusiast. Right underneath Moor St station in central Brum - http://www.motor-mech.co.uk/
  16. Does any Technie know if theres anything that can be done about a couple of flickering intermittent LEDS in my NSR light? Driving me nuts - cannot see anything loose etc.? Presuming as they are within an LED strip it'll be a new whole light assembly if not?!
  17. Not had this issue before but you do get it whenever you disconnect the car battery . Its cycles through error codes when you re-connect then clear..... I had to charge my battery up. I have Stop/Start. What engine is yours?
  18. Perfect Lucky - thanks very much. Though I have no idea why mine appear to be loose without being fixed to anything. Will be securing asap!
  19. They are merely stuck-on Lucky - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New-Genuine-Lancia-door-pillar-badge-25x25mm-badge-51826289-/370907547373?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item565bd006 Hair dryer to heat up your old one if they are faded then use some string behind to lift off without doing any damage.
  20. Further images added to my Delta Gallery with all the badging evident!
  21. I'd say just apply Autoglym Resin Polish to them weekly Penguin. Create a protective barrier to prevent any water ingress...... I had a similar issue on my Fiat Coupe with its Fuel Cap bubbling with rust. Bought a new one and replaced and have applied polish regularly and its still as good as new.
