  1. Yes they work mate but its the 'one-click' auto close/open facility that stop working. Make sure it still does that. Did you change the battery purely to get S/S going again or were there any other symptoms that the OE battery was on its last legs.
  2. Its £10 per Adult on the gate and U16's are free.
  3. Mike did you also have to reset the Elec windows so they Auto close? Another one that you usually need to perform when the batteries disconnected.
  4. Nice one Mike - May get one of those myself
  5. Yes I get no errors at all and I can disable the system by the button which indicates as so on the dash. I'm fairly certain its the battery starting to get low. Have you tried to recharge yours?
  6. TBH Tuscany sounds even more appealing Mike - Enjoy!
  7. Just a bump for this one as the date approaches........... I'll definately be there. Be great to see some others - and the reaction from the Lancia Motor Club!
  8. Yes mines still on the factory battery. Presume the S/S did not kick back in once you did that?
  9. Hi Mike - funny you should mention but as per my post above from a while ago my S/S still has not worked and I have noticed a couple of times first thing the battery light has flashed on for a quick second first thing in the morning, Still starts and runs perfect but I have also been thinking maybe its time to replace the OE battery to be on the safe side. My cars also a 1.4 MultiAir 2011 so 4 years old now. From experience a usual 5 year term is the average for a battery and with S/S I'm sure this will probably get shorter. Let me know what you decide / how you get on. As previously mentioned the only issue when you disconnect the battery is you will find several errors on the dash and you have to reset the locks and one-touch windows which is pain - electrics always get me nervous! I figure the bigger the battery output the better. Have you tried just charging up? Euro Car Parts have Boschs 027 Stop/Start battery with a 3 year warranty. Use current promo code Extra10 and its £115

  13. Yep - I can get new ones from Italy for that so I offered half which he turned down. Will keep a watch but the Italian ones seem to be creeping down as time goes on......
  14. Only that he declined my cheeky offer for the light..............

  16. Good idea Ryan - I'll give it a go - though we don't want the car getting too popular do we!

  20. Yep thats where they usually are Alan - As you say normally the whole lot has to come out including the Rad..........
  21. Just thought I would add this handy little guide from the Alfa lads as you also need to remove the breather pipe on the MultiAir to replace the plugs...... http://www.alfaworkshop.co.uk/alfa_giulietta_spark_plug_change.shtml
  22. Is your undertray intact Alan? It would be a very unlucky blow to get through the grille.........I've yet to own a single car with it fitted where the AC has not given me any problems........
  23. Nice one mate - interested to see if they cover the window markings........
  24. Yes Engine cover pulls off but I did not expect the plugs to be buried so far down in to the block! No socket set I have can get anywhere near them................... If you have done yours - what did you use?
  25. Fit your plugs Mike? Any issues - I presume the engine cover just pulls off the MultiAir.............
