Mikey - Might be me but I can't see any holes on the back of the Wheel/Airbag to release the thing?
-
Ah yes thanks Mike. I'm currently at the point where I do not want to try and disconnect the Stop/Start sensor on the battery to try to recharge it (S/S not currently functioning) due to the amount of dash errors / warnings / resets needed every time you disconnect! Thanks Canbus.

What the chuff is a proxy align?

Nice one Mike - any issues with Dash-Airbag lights / warnings etc?
-
OK Mike/Alan - finally got around to sourcing an Airbag so could do with a full 'how-to' please before I blow myself up!
-
Mods - think this needs moving to the Voyager section please

Thanks chaps but I always found the AC on first thing always helps to demist the screen with the de-humidified air? Hence why not let it work when below a certain temp? Anyway all ok so far though I need another cold morning to confirm............ Will report back!
-
Cannot see anything in the handbook but does anyone know if theres a certain temperature threshold whereby the AC will not kick in? A chilly 5 degrees this morning and I noticed that when trying to clear the screen - although the green light was on by the AC switch - the snowflake symbol on the display would not illuminate and no compressor kick-in? Started the car later in the morning when it had 'warmed' up to +8 and all was fine? Unless it was another 'Italian'ism!"

It has to be on a certain angle and it will only work when held by the footbrake - not the handbrake - as I found out when I first bought mine!
-
Very discreet mate. What are you pulling?
-
Hi Dido and welcome. I have the same 1.4 SR MultiAir - White with Matt black roof. No issues at all with mine and we've just clocked 40k. As per Alan - the indicators are all quiet. My Stop/Start has ceased functioning but if you look on the other thread on here re:Batteries - you will need a new one to get it going again. If Paul at Birmingham you mean Motor-mech - I'd stick with him - its worth the travel. I have used Paul for years on all my Italians. I never go near Main dealers now of any kind. Selenia or Petronas will be the preferred Fiat group lubricant but any decent semi-synthetic should do it. Nothing special required but stay quality as opposed to supermarket IMO.

Argh forgot to show you my sills Alan! Defo worth fitting

Steering Rub (And Click Like Noise)At Quarter/half Turn
Nello replied to Jonidle's question in Chrysler Delta
Yep my front pads and discs had to be changed at the last MoT earlier this year so may be an indication they are all fairly front brake heavy. I'll be getting my rears done within the next 12 months too. -
Steering Rub (And Click Like Noise)At Quarter/half Turn
Nello replied to Jonidle's question in Chrysler Delta
Hi Jon yes sorry for delay but welcome. Hope you are enjoying your Italian No issues on mine and not heard of any similar stories? Are your brakes ok? Sometimes pad movement can cause a groan thats felt through the pedals though usually at slower speeds than that? -
How could you! (only kidding) Pity you couldn't make Mitcar mate - next time. Also....... 1.What Alfa? 2.Those window sticker things?

Hi chaps - Apols I've not been online for a while - had some bad family news recently which I'll not trouble anyone with here. Anyway I'm off for this - I'll need to confirm but I think I can make as well!
-
I might be interested in that vincey if I can get Alan to fit it for me!
-
Hi Mike - what do they mean by not properly conditioning?
-
And another! Silver SR on New union Street in Coventry on Sunday...............
-
Hi David - same as the other Mk.3'ers' here. The modern FCA cars are pretty decent corrosion wise so I'll not bother. I've owned enough 70's and 80's Fiat/Alfa/Lancia's to know when to worry. They are a different league these days though only us select few realise that now. Try owning an X1/9! I'm on the New Delta Forum - they have an FB page as well. I did get a google translate on a thread to change the grille when I first had mine on there.

I get a bit miffed with all these alerts on the dash and things that need resetting once the battery is disconnected. I'm paranoid something won't go off and I'm a stickler for not having any errors or lights on etc. I think I'll change mine before Winter comes...........
-
Whoop Whoop - I'm off on the 16th as well so this could be the date for the first UK Mk.3 meet! I went to Stanford on Sunday. Delayed getting there as the weather was rubbish in the morning but brightened up as the day went on. I parked with the Lancia's though no other owners came over I glanced over a few times though and the car was getting a good amount of attention. Had a couple of nice chats with people though including one chap who thought it looked ace - not bad considering he had both a GranCabrio and a 355

Yes as Mike says the Bravo wheels' are a direct fit and there are plenty around........... the Delta Momo S uses the T-Jet's 18" Alloy darkened and without the fiat centre cap.
-
Welcome Rod. Glad you got your issue sorted. Photos are the normal here please

Thanks Mike. My car starts perfectly still - its just the S/S not functioning so guess I'll wait until something noticeable happens before changing. Mrs Nello does use it though so theres always the danger I could get a call from her.....................I'll see how it goes. Thanks for the mention of that Battery website though. Not heard of that one before.
