Selenia WR Pure Energy is the manufacturer recommended
-
I'll keep my eye out for you. I needed to replace one of my rear light units a while ago and it was actually cheaper to source one in Italy and ship here rather than buy in the UK or from a breaker/dealer...
-
Hi Denboy - theres three Delta's being broken on ebay if that helps? In my experience on there breakers tend to want top money but you never know........
-
Take it you work at Laverstoke then Ital?........ I'd love a 4x4 Panda myself - or even a 100HP to run around in
-
Not yet Mikey. Once I'd cleaned up the wheel it did not look as bad as it was (though I was still annoyed!) Its scuffed on 2-3 sections of the Alloy. I've dabbed some silver/grey paint on for now to try to prevent any water getting in under the laquer. As you know I'm looking at changing my Coupe at the moment so I'll think about the wheel when we decide what to do. She'd really like a 500X but I want a Brera S so we'll see who wins the scrap!

Rufty try the hinge technic. If not as Rosso says - the emergency release is in the boot. Its bright red so you can't miss it. Pull the release with your left hand and at the same time push in on the flap with your right. It will open.

So I arrive home from work tonight after the wifes been using the Delta all week.............................. "Husband - I think I caught a kerb with the car"................ http://www.troll.me/images/please-cat/oh-god-no-thumb.jpg ....anyone know a good wheel specialist in the Midlands.......
-
TBH I never use Main Dealers these days. Not since I had my 159 when they wanted £500 for a 1st service which when I demanded a break-down of what was being done was basically a load of 'checks' and an oil change. Find a good independant specialist who uses OE parts and your warranty will remain valid..... and your wallet less decreased?!!!

Apologies - not a specific response Tagora - but you haven't got a Talbot Tagora by any chance have you?
-
I use Selenia 10/40 20K. You can get it from dealers but cheaper at Shop4parts.co.uk I won't list Chrysler / the Delta but any Alfa / Fiat with the MultiAir will do it..............
-
Hi Dido - do you mean MotorMech in Birmingham? Paul Gilbert the owner is a mate of mine and has looked after all my cars for years. Anyway the engine cover simply clicks in to place so just try to reseat / push down over the clips to secure.
-
Glad you got it sorted Mike
-
No problem though I think you'll find once they start blinking - unless you can get an electrical specialist to prise the unit apart somehow and rebuild/resolder it'll need a new one. Seems to be once they've gone - they've gone.

Just search on ebay.it for 'fanale posteriore lancia delta.' Theres loads on there but its just finding a seller thats willing to ship to the UK. Try asking a breaking Delta seller for a price for a light though I think they know they are scarce so I found it cheaper to buy a new one from abroad with shipping than getting one here. I can get you the part number if needed off mine or off eper as I have a copy (Fiats parts system). There are no seals as such on the unit itself. Its a complete plastic piece though there is an access hole for the electrical socket. Theres only a few rubber sections that mate the unit to the bodywork. Look inside the boot - You can see x2 Allen key'ed 'sockets' - they are all that hold the complete unit in place! Be careful not to drop it once undone as they fall out easy once disconnected. Try http://www.ebay.it/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1311.R1.TR1.TRC0.A0.H1.Xdelta+fanale.TRS0&_nkw=fanale+posteriore+lancia+delta&_sacat=0

shop4parts.co.uk sell OE genuine Fiat group parts but don't list Chrysler. As mentioned looking for Bravo items will be suitable as well as others with the same engine (MultiAir etc.) TBH I use mostly ebay whether they are listed under Fiat/Alfa or Chrysler
-
I'm sure Bravo wheel options will fit - the Momo S 18" wheel is the same alloy from the T-Jet sport Bravo..... I think but will need to check that not all countries where the Delta was sold allow you to be without an actual spare wheel/tyre so pretty sure an addtional one would fit in.

Deltisti - I've managed to miss a load of events this year despite wanting to do more - before the decent season ends - anyone doing Mitcar this year? Its on the 28th at Gaydon this time which is not far from me so I'm definately going though not totally sure which chariot. http://www.aroc-uk.com/eastmids/mitcar2016.html Also talking of meets - if anyones interested - we love going down to the Cotswolds - again not a million miles from us - The Auto Italian Club have a Cotswolds meet every first Monday evening of the month - http://www.italianautomotoclub.co.uk/regions.html - its at a nice looking Country pub - just my kind of place where they do Pasta and a Pint for a tenner. I'll be there Sept 5th - between Witney and Oxford. Some lovely roads and scenery around there................
-
Thats a shame Mikey - whats your mileage now?
-
Nice one Jos - i know Nigel as well from the Fiat Coupe forum as I also have a Coupe LE and see his Coupe now and again! The Windows will Auto-close if left open on locking. All you need to do is hold the lock button in and any open windows will shut The wheel was a bit of a bugger to release Mike - the air was blue!! - but worth it

Hi twe - Congrats on the baby - only seems like 5 mins since my two were in a pram but my eldest is nearly 6ft now! Anyway I posted a thread a while ago about my rear light LED's flickering x3. Sounds like a similar issue. Unfortunately the LED's cannot be replaced individually and the light is a complete sealed unit. Unless you know an electrical wizard and someone who can prize/heat the unit apart - I think it sounds like you'll need a complete light unit. The whole light units are only held on by x2 bolts from within the boot - I think they are susceptable to damp/moisture which may be the cause. I tried to dry mine out with a hairdryer etc. but it was only a temporary fix and the flickering started again - annoying as LED's are supposed to be longer lasting. Anyway a new light unit is about £130 from Italian ebay sellers though I managed to find one that was slightly cracked (almost invisible!) so was discounted to £60 from Germany. It seems to be a fairly common issue looking at the Delta FB pages.............. Sorry!

Damn right Rosso................... The Lancia one looks sooooo much better. Was a bit of a pain to get the old one off though but I managed to source a 2nd hand one from Bella Italia for £50 all in!
-
Nice one Alan - mines just clocked 50k
-
Just to update this - I had my battery disconnected for at least 45 mins the other day when I 'finally' ( ) got around to changing my airbag................. Ever since reconnecting - and as such probably resetting the ECU etc. - my stop-start has been functioning perfectly again?!
-
Hi Jos - Mines an SR as well................ I use MotorMech all the time - Paul Gilbert the owner is a good mate. Paul will tell you what needs doing at when. He looks after my Delta, Coupe and X1/9...... I think the handbook has a schedule in it but do not have it with me at the moment. Which specialist quoted to do the badge changes? Mike and I were two of the first to do the 'conversion' in this country so I would be interested to see/hear a specialist take on whats required etc. I know my How-To post on here ages ago for the front grille change has been used by Ypsilon owners as a guide........... The parts are not that easy to get hold of but it can be done. BTW chaps - finally did my Airbag!
