......and normal setting is for a beep-beep on unlock and single beep on lock.

Yes as Forza says the roller blinds are in the parcel shelf. They pull out. Presume your car came with the Parcel Shelf that is! Welcome Reek btw..............
-
Yeah Mikes right - Springs, Shocks, Pads etc should always be replaced as a pair on both sides................

Paul Gilbert will be able to diagnose for sure - depends on the issue as to cost but he will know. Without wishing to sound rude but are you sure you're battery terminals are tight from when you changed? I large amount of electrical issues I read are due to poor connection and shorting out of circuits. Check all earthing points too.

Get it in to a decent Fiat independent. Any with the proper Fiat Diag SW can help. I know you are not local but Paul Gilbert at MotorMech in Birmingham will fix it. Worth the recovery cost if its sat doing nothing - http://www.motor-mech.co.uk/index.asp

Yes won't be a problem mate. Just ask us on here and we can normally point you in the right direction! Where are the photos! Enjoy the drive.......

Welcome Haq - The Delta will cost you no more than any other FCA product - just don't go for Chrysler parts - they are Lancia in all but the box name. You can get any Delta part in the UK via a good Fiat dealer as long as you have the part number although most cost effective will be via ebay etc. The Delta 3 uses many common FCA parts especially from the Fiat Bravo.

I think its probably not helped with the issue I have with my heater flap motors which is probably preventing on occasion any ingress of fresh air................. Roll on the summer and windows down!

Like I say the surrounding areas (carpet on boot side etc) seem to be dry including the wheel well? Just the underside of the removable floor 'panel?'
-
Argh! I was watching those!
-
flav if still around did you ever get this sorted? I'm working from home now mainly so the Delta is getting used less and less. It has been raining non-stop for an eternity where I live but I noticed the underside of the boot floor 'panel' (the one you lift up to get to the flat tyre gel) was wet? Not excessively so and around/underneath was dry? I have two Rugby playing lads who tend to leave half opened bottles of water rolling around in the boot so hoping its that but just in case...............

Yes I've seen those Andrew but cannot find anyone with a Delta who has had them fitted - look suspiciously cheap to me. I even asked on the Italian Delta FB page. I had Eibachs on my old Fiat Coupe and although more expensive were always the best compromise in ride and lowered quality.
-
I'm still on the original battery too. My S/S has ceased working but thats OK with me and no other issues so................... I have disconnected before though for service work. No real issues although you may get some initial lights and errors and may need to move the steering wheel from lock to lock to remove any Steering errors. You might also need to reset the Auto-down windows function by fully depressing each then holding for 5 seconds.

Doesn't look literally half as good with the single colour / non black roof. What spec was it?

Guessing that these Vids on Brake changes on a Bravo are the same for our cars - useful - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqquAW9WuQY&t=333s

As Euro Car Parts have a sale on again - what front pads are people recommending - they have Eicher / Pagid or Brembo?
-
Any part number would be useful cheers
-
Yes Nigel as the other guys have said - Don't have the Part number to hand but as long as its marked for a FIAT BRAVO II T-Jet 1.4 16V its identical for the Delta MA 1.4. Changed mine about 4 years ago and its been perfect.
-
Do you know the Part Number for the 1.4 Forza?
-
Last time my car was in my mechanic said one of my fronts was cracked at the top so would fail the next MoT. I told them Bravo Springs were the same but they report otherwise in not all models. After having a look around I appear to be able to buy a complete set of dedicated lowered springs for the car for not much more than a single OE one so reckon I might go for that.......... Will let you know.
-
Sod that!
-
And its a common problem as well Mike! On both Delta and Bravo (same heater box). All because they used these plastic 'Ferrule' control cogs instead of metal ones for a few quid -
-
poopy - hate to say it but if its a MultiAir that sounds like it could be the Actuator.........................................
-
The Italian guys obviously share the problem.....and pain!! - See what I mean about the fix!
-
Spud - did you get a pack of these? Someone on the FB page after one if anyone bought the minimum set of 5 and got one on the shelf? Scrap that - we've located one for him
