Nice one Andrew. Where was your car though? Like to know what the reaction is to the car. Especially loved the Trevi and the type 118 Giulietta as I learnt to drive in my Dads!

I think what Frankie wants to do is get a UK Delta light as its on the opposite side over here and add to his Italian car to wire in twin reverse lights.

Windscreen - A Proactive Warning To Check For A Possible Delamination Problems
Nello replied to Penguin2007's question in Chrysler Delta
I hate getting a new screen fitted to any car. Its a real lottery with who you get to fit as well. There are some horror stories with Fiat Coupes' and pattern screens (OE screens are no longer available). AA Auto windscreens were good for the last one I had but have heard some real issues with Autoglass. -
Mechanic Hiss/whining Lifting Off Accelerator
Nello replied to Josboogz's question in Chrysler Delta
Yes Andrew - mines more noticeable now with my new Turbo and the window down - Quite like that induction noise! And agreed about the Air Filter. Whoever thought it OK to have to really jack the car up to pop the Filter out?! -
Mechanic Hiss/whining Lifting Off Accelerator
Nello replied to Josboogz's question in Chrysler Delta
Hi Jos - you will hear a whoosh from the wastegate if its a 1.4 MA although not when stationary. I'd be very careful about driving it if its the belts catching on something althought you would hear that constantly and not just on lift-off. Whereabouts in the engine bay is it coming from - can you tell? -
A few mate yes but I don't want to give it away to the Barry Boys!
-
Just checked in the Summer rain (!!) 4mm gap down the sides and 7mm across the front on mine.
-
Will do mate - I was talking about the actual cars though... I quite like 'um
-
I'll check mine later for you David. I don't think panel gaps are a particular quality fit on the Delta though!
-
TBH Mike I like them in Silver as well. Those T-Jet Sport Bravo's are cheap as chips now
-
No mate - we're still going for one as the wife has a new job which involves more miles. But the Coupe is going to have to go to pay for it...........

Update - so as per above - my ticking Turbo appeared to be getting louder - I am guessing that the failed MA unit has caused oil starvation. After consultation we figured as we still like the car and we'd only need to go out and look for another 4-door so may as well bite the bullet and get it all sorted so I've just had a new Turbo fitted. The old one could not be refurbished as the damaged component internally could not be replaced. A big gulp but have to say it was worth it. Car drives as new and pickup/performance is vastly improved! A combined new MA unit and New Turbo was yes in to four figures however I'd have spent alot more on a new car to replace so am happy. Moral of the story is for an MA owners - check for a ticking / missing on tickover. As mentioned the early MA units have an issue with oil seals - its been sorted by FCA on later cars but affects all early MA Delta/Bravo/Mito and Giulietta's.

The Bravo T-Jet Sport wears the same 18" wheel as the Delta Momo 'S' - its just painted grey on the Delta. - This wheel - http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xlHC0pbJ7Ro/US0M4IAO3BI/AAAAAAAAQ2s/zl7bIunHR6I/s1600/Lancia-Delta-S-MOMODESIGN-3%5B3%5D.jpg

Yep - what Andrew says...............

They ain't cheap http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Light-projector-front-Lancia-Delta-2008-halogen-Magneti-Marelli-/252648679972?epid=2078160316&hash=item3ad308ea24:m:mtZr_UXsXAMnD6YsJ0mgeug You may need to make adjustments on Lancia spec'ed headlights to compensate for LHD. I'll keep my eye out for a 'Chrysler' unit. Try this one as its being broken - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chrysler-Delta-1-4-Multi-air-Turbo-2011-2015-Breaking-For-Parts-Wheel-Nut-/302004989809?hash=item4650e66f71:g:bzkAAOSwZ1lWeL1K

Thanks for the invite Andrew. Not this year but would love to travel over there one day.
-
They need the reset that Mike described whenever you disconnect the battery as well
-
The later 'Chrysler'ed' horiztonal Grille will fit all models as well - just down to personal preference.

Nice one Otter. Yes I also have an LE Coupe. Great cars............ The wheel 'centres' were supposed to be temporary as I couldn't find any OE ones for my wheels. I used these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-4pcs-Decal-Alu-Stickers-for-Wheel-Centre-Cap-Hubs-for-LANCIA-60mm-/262902726493?hash=item3d36393f5d:g:kSAAAOSw5cNYHeh5 The Chrysler wings just unclip off the backs and those look fine to me. The black goes with my car. First set lasted a couple of years - no problems with them coming away either. Though if anyone spots any proper ones let me know! The Martini stripes were made up by a Sticker supplier - he was on ebay but not anymore for some reason. I just told him what I wanted and he made them up. I think the image is on this thread but will re-add if needed. The duo-paint cars are Matt black roofed. I can get you the code as I have x2 paint stickers under my bonnet.

Although for me one of the things I love is that no-one knows what it is - regardless of what badge it wears!
