  1. I agree its annoying so if anyone finds the answer - I'm in!
  2. Hmm - I may have to look in my footwells then Mike - Don't get me wrong - the cabin warms up ok but just you never seem to feel the force of direction from the heater that strongly IMO - especially to the face vents...... I can hear the flaps moving during the sweep though. Perhaps I was just spoilt in the Coupe. Mrs Nello's 500X is bloomin' ace as well
  3. Funny you should mention this again though Mike - I noticed recently on occasion when it does the initial 'sweep' on startup - it sometimes does not direct the air in the travel flow you demand. I think the system on the Delta in general is a bit weak anyway. I never seem to be able to get more than a gentle 'blow' in the direction I want (matron!) - especially noticeable during this time of year as the weather gets cooler. (i.e. on your cold hands when you've just got in!) The system in my old Coupe was ace - massive heat like a bloomin-hair-dryer!! That's progress for you..................... Touching wood as I type - My AC is OK currently but I think I've mentioned before I don't think I've had a single car that has had a reliable AC unit in it. Something always goes wrong.
  4. MotorMech in Birmingham is a Terraclean agent. I've heard nothing but postive's about anyone having the treatment.
  5. Motormech in Birmingham can do it if you are ever up this way.............................

    Tailgate

Thanks Mike but that's just the owner manual. They never show you anything too technical in there for fear of you not taking it to the dealers!

    Tailgate

Has anyone removed the inside panel of the Tailgate before? I've moved by p/plate on to my Delta which is only a 5-digit one and want to remove the the four lugs that are drilled in to the tailgate to hold the standard number plate on. Just wondered if anyone knew the process? Appears to be some bolts under the handles to close it?
  8. Never had this on mine. Using the AC frequently helps clear mist/comdensation all year round (and is good for the climate system!) Must be quite severe if you need one of those bags. Has the car had a new screen? Wonder if theres a leaking seal?
  9. Great Support lads Us Deltisti have to stick together ........
  10. Sorry to hear you had problems Alcantara. I've honestly not read/heard of so many issues with one car (apart from mine!) Yes you may have got more for it rebadged back or even offering it as as Lancia but depends on your time/circumstance etc. What did you replace it with?
  11. We'll keep looking Frankie - something will turn up I'm sure and we'll get you something sorted. Great to see some 'real' Italians on here!
  12. Hi Barry and welcome. I did not spot it was Alcantaradelta's car! Thought it must have been an enthusiasts. Its probably the first re-Lancia'ed UK Delta I've seen for sale here. If you look through the threads - my car is a 1.4 MA. I've just had to have a new MultiAir Unit and replacement Turbo on my car. There is a known issue with the earlier MA units fitted to most Lancias/Chryslers/Fiats and Alfas with Oil seals in the MA Actuator units. They have revised the units now in later cars but earlier ones like mine (and this one potentially) may suffer from it at some stage. I'm not saying his car is going to but its an early MA engine. You need to budget a 4-figure sum to replace both - although that price seems decent money to me - with replacement/uprated to the latest spec MA unit and Turbo on my car drives like new now with noticeable improvement in performance. If I was looking again now (and was prepared to be patient!) I would go for either a Limited or a Momo S Delta. They are not that much more used now but with nicer spec IMO. I originally wanted one but when we bought our car they were not far off new-list price! Hope that's ok if Alcantara reads - all the best with the sale - just my opinion! Let us know how you get on Barry.
  13. Hi frankie - no light units found yet I'm afraid. Did you try to message the ebay Ad I posted earlier? Its still listed as a car being broken on ebay now? I have access to Fiat eper but this will just be the Lancia part and not the Chrysler one. I'll see if I can find a part number visible on mine. They really did not sell many Delta's here even in Chrysler form so are quite rare.
  14. See it is Italian after all
  15. Alan's right - There is no requirement to display anything other than the registration plate.
  16. So whose selling their fully 'Lancia'ed' Delta then?! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201708198490472?advertising-location=at_cars&sort=sponsored&model=DELTA&radius=1500&make=CHRYSLER&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&postcode=cv56de&page=1
  17. Nice one mate - does not actually look like its lowered too much?
  18. https://www.shop4parts.co.uk/?name=store&op=Results&PageNum_Results=1&category=0&secondary=0&keywords=selenia Shop4Parts sell the full range or you can go in to any Fiat/Alfa UK dealer and they will have it.
  19. I think I'm right in saying its not a new range - just repackaged as Petronas bought Selenia Oils............ The recommended MA Oil is Selenia WR PE. Its listed on page 275 of your handbook See my other thread about the MultiAir Unit - I had to have mine replaced. There is a known issue with Oil seals on the earlier cars - be it Chrysler/Lancia, Fiat or Alfa. The latest MA engine (badged as MultiAir 2 units) had upgraded seal liners. I had the latest version fitted to my car. You are right in saying the MA unit is sensitive to oil however I change my oil every 12 month regardless of mileage and mine still went. My car is a 2011
  20. The Service plan for both Diesel and Petrol cars includes a 'Check Coolant level' check every 2 years or 21k.........but does not specifically state when it should be changed. The only time I have ever had a complete flush / change of my entire coolant supply on any car is if I've had a need to have the whole system drained down for an issue (new Rad / Thermostat etc.) I do make sure though that the mix is correct every other year between coolant and water ready for winter - don't want anything freezing up!
  21. eper is the Fiat Group Parts system. Is supposed to be a dealer only tool but there are copies around/available. You can get all part numbers and those diagrams from there for all FCA products.... For the record these are the Lancia Part numbers although Chrysler ones will differ even though its the same item - 735554080 SAFETY BELT RH (1 on the diagram)735554081 SAFETY BELT LH (2 on the diagram)735526976 SAFETY BELT CENTR (3 on the diagram)
  22. Let me see what I can find for you frankie. There were not many Delta's sold here so most parts are tricky to get hold of....
  23. http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u241/yardelli/deltabelts_zpsambpypg4.jpg
  24. Curstu - just checked on eper. The Delta belts are listed as Delta specific so they must differ somehow although not sure how/why from the Bravo (lengths?) It should only be tether bolts at each end to secure/fit and replace so not too tricky.
