Delta S Coming Up For Sale At Auction Soon.
Nello replied to MikeyRules's question in Chrysler Delta
A quick browse on Autotrader yesterday and theres a 'record' x2 'S's and a Limited on sale at the same time! -
Again - the ones I linked to ebay fit perfectly and I've had no issues with them...........
-
Agreed - get it done. The Delta belt change is not an expensive job even via a specialist so not worth the risk
-
Whats not to like!
-
Seats in those look awesome - what colour Alan?
-
JB Weld is American stuff Mike but pretty much like Araldite. Good stuff. Those handles might not be OE - just off google to show..........but they are the same.
-
Deltisti - Just to revive this - Ironically enough my youngest's school teacher was picked up the other day as I watched by her husband who has bought an identical Delta to mine! Though still Chrysler'ed - I noticed he has the exact problem I had here on this thread - same door as well. I've also seen it mentioned on one of the Italian Delta 3 FB pages. Its the chromed bit on the right here - You have to buy a complete handle if you lose it! (Sorry Mike only took me 3 years to add a photo!) Eper says its shared with the 2007-2009 Bravo (earlier ones are Body coloured I think?) I bonded mine back in with JB Weld and its never come back off....... http://www.huhandle.com/img/Product/HU-FT3403M-FRK.jpg

Had mine done last year - Not at home currently but it was around £275 inc the Water Pump. 1.4MA by my [email protected]. Car had around 55k on it then IIRC.
-
Yes sorry for the Delta Alan. Let is know what spec you are after as we'll keep a look out. Mikey is in the trade! Anyone know what engines the Momo S was available with here?
-
I especially like this years Yellow on the 595 - looks great! What engines were available on the Ltd?
-
My 1.4 MA gets 45MPG on a run and 140BHP so performance is decent given the weight. Yes the sills were over £200 list from dealers for a bit of Alu and a light!
-
TBH I even like the standard 500's so ignore any comments. I'll be looking for one of those later this year as my eldest will be learning to drive. The Diesel issue is ridiculous. Our 500X is the 1.6 MJ but is only 109 g/km co2 emissions so greener than alot of Petrol stuff and £20 to tax.
-
I remember when that set was on ebay Alan I was tempted then! Sorry to hear you are moving on but there comes a time for everyone. My next door neighbour bought a new 595 to replace her Alfa Spider last year. Very nice and sounds ace! Mine will be hanging around for a while I think especially after having ploughed a few quid in to it for the few issues I've had. I still like the rarity factor and nothing else for the price gets me so many looks/questions. Ghibli's are coming down in price though!

Not a fuse - you would not see any readout if it was a fuse etc. Probably an issue with whatever the Delta uses as a sensor to record the miles.........................There is a gearbox speed sensor but not sure it that records both speed and mileage?
-
All is good - just a dodgy connection on the Boost Pressure valve limiting boost. A bit of pain with two issues so close to each other but all in all less than £100 to sort all so all is good again. Plus my mate/mechanic has just bought a Giulia QF so spent some quality time looking over that beauty! Defo on the 'must-have' list at some point!
-
Aye - starting to become a little annoying - hey ho
-
Arse - 2 days later - driving around - hang on - I'm only getting 1/3 boost - home - started later in evening - bing - Engine Check..............
-
Car sorted! Won't pickup until Saturday but apparently it was the 'Breather Unit' that required replacing whatever that is. Only thing that sounds familiar to me is the crankcase breather but will see Saturday. £60 = result!
-
Car left at my mates garage to be looked at when he can........... I did mention to him about the MAF but apparently the MA unit does not have one like Mikes image above - its all within some kind of throttle pressure valve apparently?!
-
Yes thats what the parts list says and is showing on eper but not the exact location - mind you given the location of the Air Filter it doesn't surprise me! Will see what my garage say.......... Thanks for the assistance Mikey
-
OK AA man gone - all he could get was a P0101 which is Mass Air Flow sensor - though we couldn't find it on the MA? No where in line from the Air Filter to the Turbo? Anyway off to my mates garage tomorrow on the truck.....................
-
Any idea where the MAF is located? 1.4 MA?
-
Mikey is there anywhere online with a list of ODB codes?
