...and yes they were built in Italy as the Cassino plant - where the Stelvio and other current Alfa's are made.
-
I think I'm on 77k now!....still under average for a 9 year old car.
-
You can ask a Fiat dealer to get hold of Lancia Parts for you but they will not do any service work. Best to get an Indy to look at it - try Paul Gilbert in Birmingham if you are in Staffs - right next to the Bullring - he looks after my Delta. http://www.motor-mech.co.uk/index.asp

nevo as per the double post reply - looks like its Punto and a simple swap

When you say you pushed in the boot clasp what do you mean? Does the lock appear 'open' now - it may have stuck in the locked position

Leather Care Cream / Gliptone?
-
So yes its a Ltd then - NMN should do it............ you may need to hold in place for it to bond depending on how much stretch it takes to pull back in.
-
Presume thats a Ltd with Leather Dash? No More Nails would do the job.................

Yes there are just x2 Hex plastic bolts holding the whole thing on. Insert an Allen key and the light can be removed. There is only one connector - mind it doesn't fall out. Very easy and worth doing just to remove all the gunk that sits in the light edge. May be working now but once it starts to go I think you'll find it'll happen again. Its a common issue on the Delta. Grey Delta not me - mines a white with black roof SR but I do go that way on occasion. I'm in Earlsdon not far from Warwick Uni.

I'll keep my eye out for any Jos - did not realise you were so close to me! Midlands meet once COVID ends perhaps!

£150 is about right. Normally a fair few from Italy as long as they agree to send to the UK. I did manage to get a used one for around £75 from Germany but only because there is a very slight chip in the plastic at the very bottom. Still sealed and works perfectly though so I was happy. No issues since. Jos are you in the UK? Always worth checking if we can source the Part number ordering via a Fiat Dealer. They will get anything as long as you have the Part number. I have used Grays in Warwick and Research in Nuneaton for this.

Yep common problem. Once an LED goes its time for a new light unit. They are sealed units so unless you want to go to the trouble of breaking it open somehow (not even sure how) you'll need a replacement. On a brighter note - As per Mike they are a doddle to remove/change.

Great job! Get us one!

Which engine do you have Delta123?

Start Stop And Battery. Anyone Has The Start Stop Actually Working?
Nello replied to Dido's question in Chrysler Delta
Dido is that you Ahmed on the FB page? Just saves me posting again on here! -
We've discussed this before on here somewhere ages ago - Its not fitted to all cars for some reason
-
Well done although on the subject I've just had to order a new battery finally with the car sitting for months in this lockdown without use. The Delta seems to do very well on batteries though as many are reporting like mine were still on the originals. So mine was 9 years old as well which is very good especially for a car with Stop/Start.
-
Not sure Delta123 - the Bravo is a shorter car than the Delta so the doors are different shapes/lengths although if its just the lock assembly..............If its cheap enough it might be worth a punt
-
How old is your battery Dido? I've not had any issues with the alarm other than once or twice I've got in and had the 'possible attempted break-in' message but for no reason but I've had enough Italians to know the odd random message is completely normal! Sorry that doesn't really help though! Not aware of anywhere you can adjust the alarm but that might because I have not had any reason to look. You sure there wasn't something like a fly in the car?
-
Its the job from hell. Common problem on the Delta 3 and the heater box shared with the Fiat Bravo - You basically need to strip down the entire dashboard. Theres reference to to it on this thread http://www.chryslerforum.co.uk/topic/5395-you-know-your-car-is-italian-when/page-2 The problem is the heater flap motors have plastic actuator cogs that split so the flaps do not move. I have the same issue but really cannot be bothered to fix. You'll need to wedge open the air-intake to prevent misting in the winter. No How-to I know of currently but if you do have a go please photograph steps! Good luck!

Got any more?!

Paul I removed as someone guided (on here?) using watch case polish although you can still see them if you look closely. Where were the sticker from?
-
Paul how did you do the glass - are they just stickers? I wanted a Ltd to start with but the wife would kill me if I bought another! Even though we all know 100k on a well maintained car is no problem - especially for a 2.0 MJ - I think that's the first Delta I have heard with 100k plus. C'mon Mikey thats got your name all over it
-
Have always thought the performance of the OE Delta headlights/bulbs are remarkably good.
