    Fault Code Help?

Hi and welcome, It might be worth checking the codes yourself - this shows you how http://www.allpar.com/neon/codes.html This is for the first gen http://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-neon/50847-dodge-neons-obd-ii-engine-code-list-here.html and here's for the 2nd gen, much easier to read Hope this helps Trev
  5. With the Neon you to remove the headlight first. I know what you mean with fiat and bulb changing, the Panda was great on one side and a pain in the bum on the other, it was a nightmare getting the cover off. Likewise the Bravo had plenty of space on one side and that diminished as you went to the other side - beware anyone holding a swear box :-0
  6. Hi, and welcome to the forum. Before you decide to scrap it or anything drastic like that get someone to check it for codes. It needs a good service and most likely a fresh. new battery (duff batteries on modern can cause all manner of issues to be reported in error) Good luck,
  7. Hi, and welcome to the forum The Neon's aren't too bad and have a bit of luxury compared to the Stilo (Not one of fiat's best offerings) One thing to be warned about - if the headlight bulb goes good luck changing the £$^^^^^"£%%" pig ! I have to say you do get a lot of car for your money - enjoy :-)
  8. Hi Pat, Welcome to the nuthouse some folk reckon the timing belt should be changed every 100,000 + miles, others 60,000 / 4 years - myself, I would play safe and do it at 60,000 and don't forget to do the water pump as well. Trev
  9. Did you buy it from a dealer, if so take it back and tell them to get it fixed as not fit for purpose.
  10. What's your regular driving like ? Short city runs or longer touring cruises ?
  11. Has the MPG gone down ? Black smoke normally means unburnt fuel Are there any error codes from the computer ?
  12. Yep welcome to Macman, make yourself at home.
  13. nah, but pocketed a tenner for an outlay of a quid :-) I had the Argies
  14. Welcome to the forum. Looking at Fuelly you are not doing too bad - http://www.fuelly.com/car/plymouth/voyager My Neon gets 29.4 mpg, it's a 2 litre which shows that Chryslers are not the greenest beasts around. Give it a service including changing the filters and you should gain some.mpg. Is your car an auto or manual ?
  15. I apologise, I did not realise that when you drilled down you would end up with a can of spray paint (I'll be sent down the basement now) I hope they can help you. Trev
  16. Hi there, Welcome to the nuthouse :-) Does this help ? http://www.andysautosport.com/headlight_covers/chrysler_voyager.html
  17. Wow, you mean I am not the only Neon owner here ? Welcome aboard, make yourself at home Trev
  18. I tried, I managed to find covers for the old voyager but not for the current model - sorry :-(
  19. I presume you have checked that the wheel nuts are all there, nice and tight ? Any noises like the wheel bearings are dying ?
  20. By design it's not supposed to be blanked, but many folk have found that blanking off the ruddy EGR they find their vehicles run better.

  23. Correct Ben, the Breakers are always a good alternative to the main stealers
  24. Ouch Ben, hope you didn't do double or quits with Portugal !
  25. I'm hoping someone can give you good news, but it may be worth registering with a breaker or several even, in case they get one with the rails in.
