Okay just an update my QuickFix lasted up until a couple of weeks ago.. Which isn’t too bad Blew very noisy and fumes in the cab for my wife when visiting her mother… Oh dear. The AA guy pointed out to my wife that someone had bodged it up... lol it blew again soon as she started home. My bodge lasted 18/12. Longer than his. however, when home very friendly guy at my local indy, completed the job properly and blanked off the end of the EGR manifold with an improvised cap. Also fashioned one for the other end presumably where the MAF sensor is. so it still works, it is quieter and the big thing… THERE IS NO FAULT CODE !!! Seriously no warning lights, we were prepared to go into the dashboard and obscure them but it wasn’t needed - it just didn’t happen it’s actually not clever enough to throw them up!! just for everyone who’s wondered. Egr blank works fine - 2007 grand voyager 2.8 crd.
