  2. Well 2 bits of good news today, MoT passed with no advisories and Fiat have said they've sent the EU conformity certificate today free of charge. The website says they're £120 but I'll not argue the toss! I've got all the DVLA stuff I need to fill in & send. The HMRC cars team in Belfast should have had the C&E109 today so I imagine the next step will be the tax bill. I've done more in 4 days than the numpty sellers did in 3 months! I work offshore for 3 weeks at a time & I'm due away tomorrow, so I guess nothing will happen for a bit. Also there's something about this site the wi-fi on the platform doesn't like, so unfortunately I can't access it which is a real PITA.

Wow that IS cheap! Yep I really liked them. Not sure on wear rate, but don't think they were too bad, and grip in wet and dry was impressive, plus not too noisy either.

  6. Great to hear you've got it Mike! Keep us updated as it would be great to hear how you get on! Good luck with it all, and hopefully it works out fairly straight forward and not too expensive either!

    Delta Lancia Badging

Hi Dapper and welcome to an exclusive club. (Yes I did have to google septuagenarian!) I have the 1.4 MultiAir which is an excellent engine once sorted. As per other threads the early MA engines suffered with Actuator issues - the later cars were modded (post 2014 I believe). This was not just on issue on the Delta but on Bravo/Mito/Giulietta etc). I had to replace mine along with the Turbo but it did not put me off the car. The MA unit is quite spritely given the cars weight and length. (1395kg). 140bhp is not too bad and acceleration on the motorway is quite well up to a point. The car is also very stable at speed. I can get 40+ mpg on a long run too. It still turns heads and I get many a questions about the car. I'd agree with Tim - get at least an SR spec. There are grilles available in Italy - let us know when you find a car and we can assist with sourcing one with links etc - you just need to know where to look!
