  1. Well good luck and hope it's as good as it sounds! The only other thing to mention is that an SE is pretty basic, so given how cheap these cars are is it worth holding out for an SR, Limited or Momo S? Just a thought....

    Number Plate Light Fuse?

Hi,Hej och valkommen....... I have looked at my UK handbook, read, and re-read the fuse locations......and I can't find the number plate fuse!! There is three fuse box locations,so I would look at the boot fuse box first.....If you have a 12 volt tester, then check each one. This is usually quicker and more reliable than removing each fuse and looking at the "broken" link. I would be inclined to look at the bulbs first,it could be a slightly corroded brass lamp holder....a little Emery paper to clean up might be the answer? Lycka Till..... Ian

  3. Check for any suspension knocks and bangs. These are prone to snapping a spring at this age. The multiair unit can have problems too, but Nello would be best to advise on that one as he's been through the replacement avenue. He would be best to advise on symptoms to look for. Other than that they're pretty good. Obviously with it being a 6 year old car check the general wear and tear, cambelt, pulleys and water pump should have been changed by now too. So if that hasn't been done factor that into your negotiations.

  4. I put Ring Life Halogens in the Delta Mike - it was the only thing Wiko's had and I needed a bulb as working Nights............. I changed Mrs Nello's DRL's in her 500X to LED's as Fiat were tight with the original 500X and had incandescent bulbs which looked daftly yellow especially when her top-of-the-range Cross Plus has Xenon headlights. Through the MoT no problem. They have added LED's in the recent revamp 'S2' 500X now..........
