    Diagnostics!

Italians hey... Why make something simple when you can over complicate it, and put things in stupid places! I wouldn't mind but it's not like we're not used to it with all of the Italian cars we've owned over the years!!

I could only find this: https://www.fiatforum.com/tech-talk/266337-fiat-specific-ecu-eobd-obd-dtc-error-codes-list-full.html for generic Fiat product and its in Italian so will need translation

  4. Ha-ha I'm sure it would have fell on deaf ears lol. He pretty much told to F off when I said the door I'd gone to buy wasn't as described i.e Donald ducked. He said take or F'off... Where are you gonna get another! Think he wanted about £350 for it as well! And as you know I got one brand new in primer from Italy for £130 all in including delivery!

    Electrical Gremlin.

Am having exactly the same problem with alarm going off, instruments recycling etc. and hazards flashing occasionally. If you have got anywhere with this I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks, Gareth

    Electrical Gremlin.

I guess no-one has had a similar problem. But it's getting worse. As well as the previously mentioned occurrences, the wipers started to cycle once during the "episode". There are no fault codes ( garage cannot find the problem source ) so I tried a simple "re-boot" by disconnecting the battery, waiting 30 minutes and re-connecting. It did not cure the problem. But more issues have arisen. Now, the alarm keeps going off for no apparent reason, and the DAB radio ( plugged into the AUX on the radio ) has stopped working - although the radio / satnav / CD all work fine. If it's a processor, I would have thought that a code would show. Anyway, it's driving me nuts.
