Great Stuff Alcantaradelta - would love to see some pics and hear experiences of the Maser. The only thing that puts me off slightly is the parts - Motor-Mech in Brum who I know/use have just had to change a rear Diff on one. £2k for the Diff alone direct from Italy! I've actually also been perusing the Quattroporte. The post 2014 cars look bang up to date and look great value to me. Also love a GT Mikey - 4.7 please - the early 4.2's are crazy cheap now but again I suppose its the servicing/parts that put people off. I went to the factory in Modena in the early 90's and have been hooked ever since ............ Still a great name

I would ask the garage to check the alternator. It's looks like you can drive on full battery, so the alternator doesn't charge the battery. The best way to check.charge the battery to full. Start the car. Take off the +. If car is still running, then it's not the alternator, if not then probably the alternator dead. Common fault for 2.8crd engines.

Hi, their are few discussions about it on the forum, you could look through my posts too. Could you upload a picture with the ignition barrel? Is the way you pull out the key, at least it was in my case, some electrics are left on, you have to turn it all the way to the left and then a step to the right. Do you hear the buzz when open the door and the key is out of the ignition? Hope it helps.

this is really weird,,,we all have the same taste..the misses and me px our delta and bmw for ghibli 3.0d beautiful rare colour bronzo Siena,,got strong money for the bmw and I rushed and got carried away and through the delta in the deal..for what they bid looking back I was mad to give it away even with the ball ache I had with it....ghibli a real good looking car gets a lot of attention the colour makes it and the sound from the sport button with (even though it speakers to amplify the sound) is amazing for a diseal... Well, my filter and housing arrived today, so I'll get it fitted. I've used the car a further 5 times now and it hasn't cut out once!
