  1. Yep I echo Neil's friendly welcome! We're quite a minority here in the UK, and even more so being tucked away in the deepest darkest corner of a Chrysler (shudders) forum! We're all Italian nuts, and have had a plethora of Italian exotica (and ahem the not so exotic), so If you need any help one of should be able to cover it...

    Happy New Year!

Well good luck with the Coupe sale when you finally get around to it. It'll fly as they are becoming very desirable now especially one as nice as yours! I just wish I could afford it!! Glad you're keeping the Delta. Mine has been far better than I ever thought it would be, hence me not in any hurry to move it on. I have a feeling it's going to cost me money in the near future though, as it approaches five years old, although having said that it's only just passed the 40k marker, so still a baby from that perspective. Great price that for a belt/pump change!! Even my mates rates aren't that good! I've just paid £60 for the full kit (Gates) inc water pump, and the labour charge is £150, so didn't think £210 all in was that bad until you said yours!! Having said that though I wouldn't sway Nigel for anyone... He's been a total star with my stock cars for sale. Complete PDI (120 point check) plus fluid/filter service for £95. It's not often you get a Master Tech to work on your car, as in most garages you'd get the junior mechanic while they sat in the office drinking coffee!!

  3. The filter I found is between engine and radiator just under this "corrugated" hose. Silver metal cylinder. Attached to priming pump

    Air Con Gone?

Hi Jon what's probably happened is your aircon compressor has seized (common fault ) for some reason the aircon often switches itself on by itself in cold weather refrigerant can remain liquid and enter the compressor as you can't compress a liquid the compressor "hydraulics " and destroys itself inside new one is damm expensive and system needs cleaning out well You can do without the aircon till April so just get the car running . First thing to try is disconnect the plug close to the compressor it's a bit fiddly to get at so another way is takeout the mini relay in the power distribution box next the battery Now start the engine look down at the compressor pulley you should see the pulley turning and the centre hub should sit still If it shows any sign of trying to move or starts to get hot the clutch and pulley are seizing In this case you could try this loosen the bolt on the centre of the compressor hub prise off the end cap now you can see if the clutch is seized Also check this , release the drive belt ( since you saw it smoking inspect it is not damaged ) check the compressor hub is not wobbly you should be able to spin the pulley part nice and free Good luck
